Ok, so the account was showing as banned for a while. I got Korrd to un-ban it, but now we're back to the same freeze-up when trying to load the server.

did he edit the config settings to Difficulty Level =0.00? making his SP character invincible?


Because if he did, then in the EXE folder it will put a Possible Cheating Detected readme file....

if he did, then he will need this file to uninstall the beta mods when the new one comes out, unless he feels like reinstalling everything


if this is the case, simply have him copy that file to a new folder, and have him mark it save....that way when he wants to update, he justs copies that back into the EXE folder

No. between him being able to log in, and then suddenly not he didnt change a thing.

Well,I have very similar problem,also freezing when try to connect and then get kicked out.And still I haven't manage to find solution.I have heard that it has something to do with high ping?Is it high in game?
And that I should contact my ISP,but the problem is that I don't know what exactly should I say to them.

This isnt caused by ping. My friends ping is between 80-90 and mine is 70-80. I get same problem when trying his account

Unless I'm missing something then this seems to be a problem on the server side, try sending a PM to Cannon and refer to this thread, he's the tech guru and should be able to help.

Already done, I think he's been on the case for a couple of days.

Just a quick update on the problem, we're still having the issue on our end. Cannon asked for the account ID and will be trying something with that. In the meantime he asked if my friend wanted his cash transferred over to another account which should be getting done soon hopefully.

Its not a solution though as it would be cool to find out just what went wrong in-case it happens again or to somebody else, but it'll do in the short-term.

Hopefully we can get the account working again soon.
