The daughter of an upper-middle-class family, her father Abe Takeda was employed by Samura, currently MIA after his convoy from Tau-29 was ambushed in a surprise attack by a gang of Blood Dragons at the entrances to Hokkaido in 813A.S, in the middle of the war with Bretonnia. His mother Yui Fujimoto (Born 779 A.S - 48 y.o), from a wealthy family with political influences is a graduate from Shintodai (New Tokyo University) from 797-803 in which received a Degree in PPE (Philosophy, politics and economics). Her class trained many famous political activists and specialists. At some point she was a classmate of Shimamori Masahito who would later become a prominent political figure on Honshu. After her husband's misfortune she returned to political career and became a vocal political activist speaking in favor of prioritising internal markets, often participating in meetings with agricultural unions in the region.

After the incident with her father, Samura paid a large sum of money, which allowed her mother to pay for her daughter's studies at the KSP officers' academy.

Ryoko decided to join the KSP initially in vague hope of finding her father or his remains, but also for her sense of morality and defending those most in need. The events of the civil war strongly marked her life, having lost more than one good friend in the events of Kyushu. She obtained the rank of Inspector in 820A.S after completing her basic flight training and her studies in investigation and criminology, and was later assigned to KSP patrols within the Kusari borders.

Deep down, she bears a resentment towards Kusari's war machine that, thanks to its warmongering policies, left the borders unprotected, which has led her to think that her father could have been alive today, if not for the untidy actions of the former imperial government.

With a strong character and democratic mind, thanks to the influence of her mother, Inspector Ryoko is currently on duty within the ranks of the KSP, where efforts have been made to protect the citizens of Kusari from any threat.
