I hope everything has been ok lately, we don't hear much outside of our official operations with the Order.
I would like to inform you that it was just after our last operation, the Delta 4 unit has been taking more drastic actions and specialized operations against the Nomads. We have separated from our former larger Zoner groups that we were involved with. This has been a point of contention between some of our informants that we had. Several things had to be changed so that we could conduct the activity that we believe needs to happen in order to protect ourselves from the alien threat.
I am reaching out to you today in regards to a operation the Stormhawk ran not too long ago into Omicron Lost. With the assistance of another science vessel, we did locate some sparse Nomad activity in the area, although much of the system including the planet did not yield much of interest for us. I am requesting if it is possible, for any additional information regarding this system. We had limited information from some at Freeport 11 and various scout reports, so we investigated what we could find.
If this is possible, and if you require anything in return, that would be most appreciated.

Regarding Moros, Omicron Lost
Good evening
There was a relatively recent expedition to Omicron Lost for the primary purpose of surveying planet Moros. Previous thermal scans of the planet revealed there to be extensive subterranean systems inhabited by Nomads that seem to be in a dormant state. More recent scans of the planet have shown absolutely no sign of Nomads, so the higher ups requested a confirmation that the planet has been abandoned and if possible, to find out why. Two capital ships were available and while I was busy with other duties, one of the lieutenants under my command was present in a small recon freighter.
The Nekhbet sent a search team down to Moros whilst we monitored what we could from orbit. The surface teams confirmed what our scanners were telling us; that there was no signs of alien life remaining. Shortly after the search team returned to the Nekhbet, several Auxesian ships decided to say hello. We were outnumbered from the first moment, but they kept their distance for some reason. That reason turned out to be that they were waiting for reinforcements of both more Auxesians, Nomad and infested allies. Once they outnumbered us two to one, they attacked. According to the final sensor logs, by the time the battle was coming to an end, they had a three to one advantage.
Naturally, no amount of experience or bravery can defend against a full fleet. Fortunately, the capital ships were salvageable and my lieutenant managed to keep his crew alive despite the loss of the freighter.
I am not currently aware of any further plans regarding Moros, or the system of Omicron Lost other than keeping an eye on the system for more activity. As such, I have added Omicron Lost to the patrol route of some of the ships under my command. I may be wrong, but I believe the current concern of The Order is watching and hopefully preventing any exploration or colonisation of the planet. An abandoned Nomad world would be of interest to the Houses, the Core and even some more.. enterprising freelancers. Personally, I'm more concerned with the Auxesian and Nomad fleet. Such an excessive amount of enemy ships to take out our small group is not at all surprising, but I do wonder if it was a defensive response to our investigation of the planet, or if it's just the usual obsession with killing humans that we often see from the nomads or their slaves.
If and when I am informed of any updates, I will let you know.
It is good to hear from you again, I'm glad you are still safe and sound after such a distressing situation. It seems their tactics do not change very much, at least that can be counted on.
As for all this intel, it is certainly a lot to go over and somewhat surprising, based on the groups you mentioned involved. We see why our scan of Moros revealed nothing now. Curious that our efforts there were met with very little resistance. We do have plans in the future to return and see if anything else can be found. Lost does seem be a somewhat unique system with certain properties we discovered in there.
This information will be forwarded to one of our trusted fixers back home that will try to cross reference what he can for us and see if he can find anything further. We have a few very resourceful contacts that have greatly helped us on the back-end. On that note, we did receive some unconfirmed reports of potential Nomad activity in Sigma 17 but our investigation yielded no positive results. For now, I would like to thank you very much for this generous dissemination of data to us. I imagine we may be in contact again soon as we have planned a number of operations that may involve the Order in some way.
I hope this message finds you well out there. Delta 4 has spent much time during the last 2 months taking more invasive measures to track Nomad movements, and have been getting some success on halting them not only in the Omicrons, but also in their adjacent systems.
The reason for contacting you is due to the fact that some time ago we made our own survey of the area around Mu for our own reference to stay updated on the local object positions known to be there, also to inspect for any further anomalous Nomad activity. Although we did not find much of any concern, we did appear to stumble upon a unregistered Jump hole, on the far side of Nebet. We proceeded into it and arrived in a previously unknown system to us. The area we were in was not appearing on our star charts, but the moment we arrived we were immediately turned away by a fleet of Order ships. I would expect the Order to have tight control of it's area of influence and therefore we were turned away quickly and informed that that system is off-limits.
Comm logs recorded below:
[05:47:22] Stormhawk: ?: jump succseful, checking radar
[05:47:26] OCV1-REDACTED: REDACTED: Intruder detected.
[05:47:49] Stormhawk: JJ:let me...oh hello? Order ships?
[05:47:53] OCV1-REDACTED: REDACTED: Unidentified ship, state your intentions in our system.
[05:48:25] Stormhawk: JJ: we were....scouting a unregistered jumphole at the far end of Mu, and we arrived here
[05:49:21] Stormhawk: JJ: this system doesnt show up on our starcharts, can you tell us what is in here?
[05:49:34] OCV2-REDACTED: There's a reason Order askes the Zoners not to poke around the Mu system
[05:49:44] OCV2-REDACTED: That's classified information
[05:50:18] Stormhawk: JJ: I see, well, i assume then this is a restricted zone or some other controlled area?
[05:50:37] OCV1-REDACTED: REDACTED: Correct.
[05:51:11] Stormhawk: JJ: alright, we will turn around if we must, please give us a moment to adjust our systems
I would just like to be assured that the area we found truly is not accessible for our Unit, as we wish to explore any areas around the Omicrons for signs of Nomad activity.
In the case that it is a classified area and you are unable to divest more information on it, I completely understand and will be sure to purge that information from our main data-banks and not attempt to breach that area again. In addition, if there is some way for us to procure legal access to that area, we would be quite interested. Please respond as soon as you are able to.
Thank you.

Hello again, JJ.
Sorry that my responses have been sporadic. My recent promotion has made me even more busy than usual, mostly with logistical work so I don't get as much time to fly as I'd like..
Regarding this jump hole that you stumbled upon, it does indeed lead to a secure system as you discovered from the welcome party. Whilst we can't possibly monitor all jump hole traffic at all times, that system is heavily patrolled and when threatened, fiercely defended. Normally if it's a stray Zoner or Freelancer, they're warned away as you were, but if there's even a hint of suspicion, most intruders and especially smugglers get turned into white hot vapour if they don't turn back after a single warning. I won't ask you to wipe anything from your ship systems, as I trust you not to go sightseeing.
Whilst your contribution to the efforts of The Order are recognised and greatly appreciated, the nature of our assets within that system make it extremely difficult to obtain clearance. A higher security clearance may be granted in the future, but for now, should you require passage through the system, you would need to be escorted in a direct line from one jump hole to another with your sensors tuned down.
Hello again and thank you for getting back to us. We know things get busy sometimes.
Your response is something as I expected we would receive given the circumstances. Delta 4 will respect your wishes in this regard and will stay clear of that place for the time being. We appreciate the professionalism expressed here and hope to work together again soon.
