Biography:

Born into a military family on Planet Los Angeles with both parents as high-ranked liberty navy officers his life path was chosen from the day of his birth. His childhood consisted mostly of a strict raising with little to no room for failures in school and free-time activities. One could say that his childhood was boring because once he came home from school he was forced by his parents to continue studying and training with his father. But it was exactly this what pushed him to become one of the best captains within the Liberty navy secondary fleet. It was nevertheless a long and hard way for the young Richard to live up to his parents expectations.

He did not have a lot of friends for obvious reasons but this was nothing that would have stopped him in the first place, despite the fact that he was mostly alone he later started to show great skills in leadership as well as tactical thinking within combat situations. Once he graduated from the military academy he was one of the first ones to become captain of a newly built Dreadnought. It was then when he started to show rather interesting behavior if the choice of the equipment of the ship he was in command. Many of his peers thought he was crazy to search for such passive and long-distance equipment but only he saw the tactical advantage he could get with the right escort groups. This was also the point where he decided that the secondary fleet wasn't enough for him anymore. So he searched for a new place to stay where he could show and prove his skill in combat and leadership.
