Royal Charter #828 P1-7, or
Privileges to Bretonian Corporations in the Tau Sector and the Edinburgh System

This is a Royal Charter granted by the Bretonian Government to all Bretonian corporations, defined as Bretonia Mining and Manufacturing, Bretonia Mining and Fabrication, Border World Exports, Gateway Shipping and Planetform Incorporated, which grants them rights to uphold the Tau embargo where Bretonian law enforcement cannot.

  1. The Kingdom of Bretonia declares that Bretonian corporations have the right to uphold Article 3.2 of the Bretonian Charter of Interstellar Law in the Tau systems claimed by the Kingdom of Bretonia and the Edinburgh System.
  2. The Kingdom of Bretonia declares that Bretonian corporations have the right to appropriate the cargo that they have impounded, as long as it is not human cargo or illegal cargo.
  3. In case it is human cargo, it must be safely brought to the nearest space station or inhabited planet that is able to receive it.
  4. In case the cargo is illegal, it must either be destroyed, or if law enforcement units are present, transferred to them. In case the illegal cargo is Gaian wildlife, Article 3 applies.
  5. The Royal Charter #828 P1-7 overrides this charter if there is a conflict of privileges.
