As you may have noticed, the Unione Corse has gained some unforseen responsibilities, namely the Provence system. We continue to recognize that Provence is part of the Gallic Union, however, Planet Marseille and its surrounding facilities are more suited to be managed by the Unione Corse, in terms of law enforcement and border patrol. Especially with the relentless incursions of the Outcasts in our nation, and numerous Gallic terrorists while reducing upkeep for the deployed Gallic troops for law enforcement.

Hereby, I propose to create a sui generis status for the Unione Corse, with allowing our organization to uphold Gallic laws inside - and only inside of the Provence system.

It is good to see such a fervent desire to serve the common good of our great nation, and my colleagues in government share that sentiment. We agree to let your organization maintain law and order as prescribed by the laws of the Union, but at the same time consider this a probationary period - prove your usefulness to the state, and perhaps we will discuss the widespread acceptance of your assistance in securing order and stability, for our enemies are numerous, and not limited to Outcasts alone: remember, the marginal Maquis, the fanatical Royalists and other scum are still a minor but threat to our nation, its unity and prosperity.

Battleship Cassard and its group will remain in Provence to monitor and evaluate your performance and, if necessary, use superior firepower against Gallic Union enemies. Their location will not change-the orbit of Planet Aix, try to make sure we don't have to change it.

Proceed with your duties to the state within Provence, Principal. Dismissed.
