A Proposal.

The seeds are complex machines, the size of a Power Cell, yet intricately woven on the molecular scale with no tolerance for errors. Both the Cloudmaker and the Hivemaker seeds are in their last twelfth of completion.

The method by which we would change your shell's weapon is a matter of slow replacements. The method by which we would replace your "jump drive" is inefficient when compared to a different option. The Voidmind possesses their Paradox Cysts. They are more efficient than humanity's answer, and cause no damage to the weave of space, unlike the counterpart. Our most major roadblock to the Voidmind is the Corrupting Ones. We cannot expect them to not lunge at the opportunity to poison any information that the Voidmind would provide us. Until such a point as the Voidmind is separated from the Corrupting Ones, we must treat their knowledge and information as poisoned, whether intentionally or not.

Before we make any decisions regarding the Voidmind, I have a task that could be useful, and at least will be interesting. Near the Fanged-Shells, a rock hangs in space. Humanity has named it Pygar. Near the northern edge of it's rotational axis is a network of tunnels, a maze of sorts, and one of which contains a library. I intend to bring my doll-body to the surface under the cover of assault in the waters in which the planet hangs. I can fashion a doll-body for you, if you wish to join me. I remember the shape of your human form.

While I welcome your invitation to wander through the tunnels and Library on the Pygar, I believe my silence and ignorance to such invitation was enough of the answer to your query. I had to walk a path of solace, peace and silence far away from reach of our minds to study my thoughts and scenarios that appeared in my mind. It has been a long time and yet it was not enough. Here I am for a short while to help out with current and important tasks before I may leave for a while again... That has to be decided yet.

While time is of no concern to our kind, it is taking its toll on my shell and I had to once again ponder on solutions and ideas regarding its survival for many cycles and events yet to come. This will be thought through once we are done with the offensive in our rivers.

Is there anything you want to talk about?

Necessity, by Death's delicate embrace.

Oathborn Daughter, the time for us to move comes. The ability of your shell to harbor other shells within becomes paramount to a new idea, a new dream. One where you provide a location where we push outwards without the material cost of constructing a Hive. The mobility also allows us to cover your approach and retreat, allowing us to experiment with positioning and area control.

We have deliberated, deciding it to be more necessary to weaken the enemies of the Grass-Keepers, that they might more easily spread the Grass. To Humanity, it is something akin to an irresistible poison, and it is necessary that their poison spread. We once had an accord with their forefathers, and though the new youth are loathe to accept anything their ancestors provided to them, they will likely still cave to simple human greed, as the distribution of the grass is paramount to their personal wealth.

Adding to this, it seems they have broken the stronghold of the Cursebearers that encroached on their borders. We could easily pass through, and wreak our will upon the Cloud-Harvesters and Fanged-Shells, and have our Infiltrators among the Frilled-Shells reduce the assistance received in favor of fighting the Blue-Shells. Reducing the effectiveness of these in hampering the spread of the grass also opens our strategic opportunities in the future.

Yet, if they are so insistent on denying all that came before them, their ego and fear would make them a credible threat, and perhaps we should instead break them. Nonetheless, these are merely conjecture until they have made their choice.
