Esteemed citizens of our Realm and listeners from across the Sirius Sector,

In light of recent developments within the system of Omega-3 and adjacent Omega-7, and as a measure to deter pro-Rheinland propaganda, the Kingdom of Bretonia is providing an update on the status of the systems and the events that have thus far occured, alongside the actions taken to safeguard Her Majesty's Kingdom's borders.

As of Thursday, 02.06.829 A.S., the situation on the border with House Rheinland remains stable and under the control of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom. Rheinland Military vessels have been detected entering the system, however the prompt response of Bretonia's military has made them return to Omega-7 without incident.

A direct response to the mentioned incursions has not thus far been decided on, and, for the coming future, military forces under the banner of the Kingdom of Bretonia will not pursue nor enter the system of Omega-7 for any purposes to avoid potential escalation. An increase in the pro-Rheinland propaganda, greatly helped and further propagated by elements unfriendly to the Crown has been started. We ask that all news sources of Rheinland origin and information released by the Rheinland Military be verified several times to prevent any incidents. Our specialists, acting in close collaboration with the Intelligence Service of Bretonia, will combat the spread of such propaganda to provide for a safe environment in the Kingdom for all visitors and citizens alike.

We also ask all trade vessels heading to Rheinland via the Omega-3 / Omega-7 corridor to be aware of the recent developments within the region and to request the escort of Bretonian Armed Forces pilots until the border with House Rheinland as a result of increased pirate activity.

The Rheinland Military has also initiated moves to damage the public image of Her Majesty's Armed Forces, moves that we find absolutely unacceptable and only meant to further sway public opinion within Rheinland against House Bretonia and House Liberty following the blockade imposed on the Gallic Union. We condemn all attempts by the House Rheinland at warmongering in the Omegas region and assure the public that such acts will be treated accordingly. Bretonia does not seek to invade allied states and highly values cooperation between the Colonies in all regions of the Sirius Sector.

The Kingdom wishes all citizens and visitors alike a pleasant stay in Bretonia and a guarantee that the Omega-3 situation will not deteriorate further.
