Considering Blake's words as authentic, Linsay returned a gentle smile.
That's nice of you to say.
Thinking about it, she released a sigh.
That being said, I'm certain I'll spend a lot of time in Manhattan's orbit. Seems like a pretty entertaining spot to just hang out and meet people. Not always the most desirable, but at least they don't threaten me, with all those weapon platforms and Navy officers around. Will take my time to prepare the ship. Like-
She smirked weirdly.
The ship is in a horrible state. I had to download a very basic communication app to respond to your message from the ship. I also need to give it a name, so people don't think the ship's name is Lindsay Castillo. And encryption keys. And setting up the service robots will take time. So, yeah, I won't leave Liberty any time soon, except if I can get escorts, just to be safe.
Victoria chuckled. ''Yeah. Maybe it will be for the best.'' The lieutenant stood up and strenched. After she looked at Lindsay. ''I enjoyed talking with you, Lindsay. Sadly, I need to go... If it was me, I would stay longer but I need to return in New York...''
The lieutenant took her hand and they both did a handshaking. ''I know it was short, Lindsay. Like I said, I would like to stay a bit longer but I need to do some paperworks... A thing I completely forgot before to come here.'' Even is it was short, Victoria liked the moment with Lindsay. ''Sure no problem. Saying a hello will probably make my days better.'' She said while she was looking into Lindsay's eyes.
''Next time, I'll make sure to do paperworks and by doing so, more time together. That is if you want though.''
Paperwork was something she never had to deal with. The fortunes of being a rich, spoiled child.
Well, then! I'm definitely looking forward to that!
Smirking, she made a step to the side, looking over to her robotic servant for a second. Then back at Victoria as she made a move to leave.
Have fun with the paperworks!
Waving, she watched her leave, then moved over to the counter to pay the bills with a credit card. Wholesome and short, she thought. Just like that, she had met someone from the Navy. Maybe that would come in handy later.
