The Miyasu Zaibatsu - 見やす 財閥
"We are not here to shape Kusari or to earn the most money. All we aim for is to help the people of Kusari."
- Miyasu Sanae (825 A.S.)

Quick facts

Founder: Miyasu Sanae
Foundation date: 827 A.S.
Current Chairwoman: Muteki Ayame
Key shareholders: Miyasu Iriel, Miyasu Sanae, Zama Giyuu

The Miyasu Health Foundation

The Miyasu Health Foundation is a recent addition to the Miyasu Zaibatsu portfolio, established in 827 A.S. by the current acting President, Miyasu Sanae. Despite Kusari's advanced health system and extensive network of state and keiretsu-operated hospitals, Miyasu Sanae, who briefly served as Health Minister, recognized the need for more efficient solutions to address visible deficits that bureaucratic giants often struggle to overcome.

The Miyasu Health Foundation aims to address several crucial deficits, including:
  • Lack of funding for smaller University clinics
  • Lack of funding for mental health institutions specializing in women's health
  • Lack of funding for psychological treatments of prisoners

The foundation utilizes both state funds and Zaibatsu funds, although this has been a subject of criticism due to the acting chairwoman's previous role as Kusari's Minister of Health & Education. Despite these criticisms, the Miyasu Health Foundation intends to expand its investment portfolio throughout Kusari. To ensure the intended utilization of invested funds, the foundation strives to acquire a minimum of 20% shares in the institutions they invest in. Currently, the Miyasu Health Foundation holds significant shares in several institutions, primarily on Planet Honshū. These include:
  • The Tenmei University Clinic of applied cybernetics (36%)
  • Takarazuka Emergency Medical Center (21%)
  • Nishiwaki Psychiatry Center (19%)
  • The New Tokyo University Clinic (18%)

By actively investing in these institutions, the Miyasu Health Foundation aims to contribute to improving healthcare and addressing the identified deficits within Kusari's health system.
