As a large pirate force cut the trade lanes and intercepted the security team, instead of finding a small patrol team, they found a large well equipped group of Bounty Hunters and Liberty Navy. The pirates managed to take out a bunch of the security, however they were underequipped and outmatched.

The convoy successfully reached the Colorado system, boosting trade relations and economy between the parties. How such a large force of pirates managed to appear in the system before the arrival of a large convoy is unknown. Rumors circulate, but so far the LSF has released no data on the subject.
