Subject: Crayter Carrier Prototype
Good Evening,
With my promotion to Rear Admiral I hope I have been living up to your expectations. I have recently been in contact with Crayter's Ministry of Defense and Military in an attempt to utilize and strengthen our relationship. With Bretonia shifting its diplomacy around when it suites them I saw this as an opportunity. When I visited the Yellowstone Battlegroup in Coronado I could not help but notice the amount of Capital ships Crayter has sitting in its drydock. Most are down for repairs and others are combat ready hulks not being utilized due to their supply shortage. With this in mind I routed some funds to pay for a shipment of raw materials they would need to keep their Shipyard operational and get more of their ships out in the field. In return Crayter has give us a combat ready Carrier and as we speak its being escorted to Washington Shipyard. I am always looking for new ways we can perform on the battlefield and it is my belief with the right funding and engineers we can make this ship one of the finest in our fleet. I only require your permission to continue on with this endeavor.
In Service To The Republic.

Rear Admiral Shepard,
I'll save any comments as to my expectations of your performance for your review, which is approaching rapidly. Though, I'll try to save you any concern and say you've nothing to worry about.
Now, on to the Crayter Republic Carrier you have requisitioned. I am pleased, first and foremost, that your efforts have further strengthened the relations between the Liberty Navy and their Republic - a long-standing relationship, as I'm sure you are aware. The recent developments between the Kingdom of Bretonia and ourselves, well, to say I was disappointed in such actions would be an under statement. However, the focus, first and foremost from this point forward, will be to continue to work with the Crayterian Republic, their Military and continue the long standing support.
With the results of the Insurgency War, we must move to repair and rebuild what was lost to ensure the security of the Republic. As far as the giving of my authorisation, you have it. Get it done, Rear Admiral, and keep me in the loop, if you would.
In service to the Republic,
-
