》》》 From: Alice Dee

》》》 To: Kusari Office of Intelligence & Kusari Naval Intelligence

》》》 Subject: Additional Information

To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Alice Dee, I am an operative of the BIS Overseer branch.

Less than a day ago, a situation occurred in the Tau-23 system, which included two KNF assets named Onamazu and Kazu-Chan. If you did not already do so, please get in touch with the pilots of these KNF assets as they likely can provide a more detailed insight into the events.

The conduct of these pilots was formidable and while it was a short cooperation, it was certainly an enjoyable one. Before parting in Tau-29, I talked with Onamazu about a possible information exchange regarding the involved parties in the Tau-23 incident. Following that, I managed to acquire more information, which I would like to forward to you. The quality of information may not be much deeper than surface level small talk and banter, but I leave the evaluation of the transcribed logs in your capable hands - in the worst case, a few minutes have been wasted on reading possibly irrelevant ramblings.

Bretonian Intelligence Service, Overseer Branch

[+]BIS OS LSD Transcript TAU23 8300428-29
[28.04.2023 23:18:05] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Ew, a BIS agent, come to violate the NFZ like your friend?
[28.04.2023 23:18:45] Alice.Dee: I'm afraid I don't know what friend you are referring to, but I can assure you I am not interested in such things.
[28.04.2023 23:19:30] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: [SIS]-HMS-Royal.Guard, violated the NFZ, had to watch them get sunk for it, with a not so slight amount of glee on my
[28.04.2023 23:19:32] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: end
[28.04.2023 23:20:06] Alice.Dee: While I know that it sounds like a simple excuse, I am not related to the actions of the SIS.
[28.04.2023 23:20:34] Alice.Dee: That being said, If you could forward any data about the possible transgressions of an SIS asset against you, I would-
[28.04.2023 23:20:36] Alice.Dee: appreciate that.
[28.04.2023 23:21:18] Alice.Dee: Also, pardon me if I am not up-to-date, but I am not aware of a No-Fire-Zone in Tau-23 upheld by Zoners.
[28.04.2023 23:21:48] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: The SLRC maintains an NFZ around our facility here, although your SIS friend was causing problems out in Delta
[28.04.2023 23:21:59] Alice.Dee: In Omicron Delta?
[28.04.2023 23:22:05] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Because of course one must stick their nose in everything everywhere
[28.04.2023 23:22:09] Alice.Dee: Huh. That's a long shot away from home.
[28.04.2023 23:22:48] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Such mismanagment of staff are ongoing I'd assume
[28.04.2023 23:23:10] Alice.Dee: Well, I can't speak on behald of the SIS. If it means anything to you, I can assure you I am not interested in causing more
[28.04.2023 23:23:13] Alice.Dee: damage.
[28.04.2023 23:23:25] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Actions, not words are how you will be judged
[28.04.2023 23:23:55] Alice.Dee: I take it the No-Fore-Zone in this system is a radius of ten kilometers around Ikarus Station?
[28.04.2023 23:24:14] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: We hope *chuckles*
[28.04.2023 23:24:25] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Not that it means much to Gallia or the like...
[28.04.2023 23:24:29] Alice.Dee: Well, we can only respect what we know about.
[28.04.2023 23:24:54] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I'd assume Bretionia would know a lot about a system they claim soverenty over
[28.04.2023 23:25:24] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: But, as some of the interns like to say, its above your pay grade no doubt
[28.04.2023 23:25:46] Alice.Dee: I would assume so, too, but my knowledge is limited, which is why frequent patrols throughout the Taus are necessary-
[28.04.2023 23:25:54] Alice.Dee: to keep myself up-to-date on relevant matters.
[28.04.2023 23:27:10] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I guess its a start, but you're a few wars behind I'm afraid if your just recently assigned to the area
[28.04.2023 23:27:35] Alice.Dee: Apologies for proverbially putting my nose into your matters, but would you mind introducing yourself?
[28.04.2023 23:27:48] Alice.Dee: I would like to know who I am talking to, other than "a Zoner".
[28.04.2023 23:28:34] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Ah, Dr. Brandon Wright, Head of R&D at Starlight Research, and you are?
[28.04.2023 23:29:08] Alice.Dee: Alice Dee, Bretonian Intelligence Service, Overseer branch. Pleasure to make the acquaintance.
[28.04.2023 23:29:33] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: *chuckles* Don't tell the Order about your name, might get yourself a lawsuit
[28.04.2023 23:29:49] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Although I guess /overwatch/ is slightly different from overseer
[28.04.2023 23:29:56] Alice.Dee: If I recall correctly, they refer to themselves to Overwatch, yeah.
[28.04.2023 23:30:22] Alice.Dee: Well, I'd definitely look forward to see a lawsuit from them.
[28.04.2023 23:31:04] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Is there even a cross sector court
[28.04.2023 23:31:33] Alice.Dee: To the best of my knowledge, no. Whether that is good or not, I wouldn't be able to tell.
[28.04.2023 23:32:15] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: *chuckles*
[28.04.2023 23:32:29] Alice.Dee: Is your company operating only here in Tau-23 or do you maintain other No-Fire-Zones in other sectors?
[28.04.2023 23:33:17] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Tell me, I've got a report from a staffmember that Kusari was here trying to stablize a Baxter Object....
[28.04.2023 23:33:34] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: And Sailas, don't worry about my expenses, we are still well within the repayment period
[28.04.2023 23:33:53] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: opps, to many people talking to me at once
[28.04.2023 23:35:07] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Soo, Alice, what brings you to 23? Besides watching the Gallic Battleships waltzing into 31?
[28.04.2023 23:35:44] Alice.Dee: Routine patrol duty, Sir. Or Doctor? What do you prefer?
[28.04.2023 23:36:06] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I respond to quite a lot of names depending on if things are going well....or not
[28.04.2023 23:36:13] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Hey you is a regional favorite right now
[28.04.2023 23:36:44] Alice.Dee: Well, I'm on patrol duty in the Taus, as mentioned before, to stay up-to-date.
[28.04.2023 23:37:12] Alice.Dee: I was here earlier today, on my way to Tau-31, when multiple signatures popped up.
[28.04.2023 23:37:16] Alice.Dee: Right here, to be precise.
[28.04.2023 23:37:41] Alice.Dee: Technocrats, Kusari Naval Forces, even a Gallic bomber, and one of your fellow people.
[28.04.2023 23:37:49] Alice.Dee: One of your Hey You's, so to say.
[28.04.2023 23:37:53] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Oh really, sounds like quite the party
[28.04.2023 23:38:21] Alice.Dee: I would like to say it was, but it was both cold and heated at the same time, as you would imagine.
[28.04.2023 23:38:43] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Well, these objects do present a threat to the entire sector, should they be abused
[28.04.2023 23:38:43] Alice.Dee: We didn't get to talk much due to Outcasts interfering here, though.
[28.04.2023 23:38:56] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Oh eris above, the Cardi breathers
[28.04.2023 23:39:42] Alice.Dee: I must admit I'm not a scientist, my knowledge of these shiny bubbles is very limited apart from "no touch please".
[28.04.2023 23:40:09] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Which is a /great/ outlook to have, in fact I warn as many people away from them as possible
[28.04.2023 23:40:31] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: After all as a stablizing worm hole there are a mulitude of desinations you can end up at should it pull you in
[28.04.2023 23:41:11] Alice.Dee: So these are some sort of to-be jump holes?
[28.04.2023 23:41:16] Alice.Dee: Subspace rifts?
[28.04.2023 23:41:54] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Uh.....yes.....sort of, not trying to be rude but I have an entire degree Hyperspace Cartography and its...a lot to cover
[28.04.2023 23:42:14] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Also it doesn't help sometimes they aren't even jump holes, just pressure bursts of subspace
[28.04.2023 23:42:24] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Or hyperspace if you prefer
[28.04.2023 23:42:36] Alice.Dee: I was about to say, when it comes to these things I can't help but feel like a pupil in front of a teacher.
[28.04.2023 23:42:56] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Thanks, can't dedicate your lifes work to it and not feel like a teacher
[28.04.2023 23:43:06] Alice.Dee: Nevertheless, I appreciate any attempt of telling me more about them.
[28.04.2023 23:43:07] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: But even with years of research they still do odd things
[28.04.2023 23:43:21] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Taking the ones in Kepler for example
[28.04.2023 23:43:47] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: No...nodes, such as the one closer to me, but the ones that are stablized in the area appear to be drawing in more Dark
[28.04.2023 23:43:53] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Matter, further prolonging the storm
[28.04.2023 23:44:52] Alice.Dee: While I can't say I have been able to enjoy more frequent visits of the border systems between Liberty and Kusari-
[28.04.2023 23:45:17] Alice.Dee: I seem to recall that these Dark Matter storms there have been there for decades, if not longer.
[28.04.2023 23:45:31] Alice.Dee: I do know, though, that at least the one in Kepler got much worse.
[28.04.2023 23:46:03] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: To a point, yes, but these pockets of leftover dark matter were from a previous storm, that was able to be tracked
[28.04.2023 23:46:23] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: And prepaired for, this most recent storm appears to be....spawned...for lack of a better word only recently
[28.04.2023 23:47:19] Alice.Dee: I see. If these anomalies in Kepler are similar to the ones here, is there a chance that we need to worry about similar-
[28.04.2023 23:47:28] Alice.Dee: threats of Dark Matter in the Taus?
[28.04.2023 23:48:10] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: There is insufficient data for qa meaningful answer, however should you come across any more of these objects on
[28.04.2023 23:48:21] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Your travels please do let me know
[28.04.2023 23:48:40] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Every object acts somewhat the same, and yet different, so more data is needed to determin a pattern
[28.04.2023 23:48:40] Alice.Dee: I will certainly do. Are there other instances of these objects already known?
[28.04.2023 23:49:06] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Uh, New York, Kepler, Here, O-3 are the ones I've done indepth reserach on
[28.04.2023 23:49:20] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: There was also one in Chester, before the jump holes destablized
[28.04.2023 23:49:22] Alice.Dee: Omega-3 was the first thing that came to my mind.
[28.04.2023 23:49:38] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Indeed, I got my doctorate on Freeport 1 studying the object
[28.04.2023 23:49:51] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Course that was before sprog was opened up for colonization
[28.04.2023 23:49:56] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Sprag?
[28.04.2023 23:50:33] Alice.Dee: Sprague, with a very loose g and a cut off -ue at the end.
[28.04.2023 23:51:06] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: *chuckles* thank Eris I'm not a diplomat, I'd ruin everyones names always
[28.04.2023 23:51:46] Alice.Dee: I believe there is a certain degree of leeway when it comes to excentricisms among scientists.
[28.04.2023 23:52:09] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Thats a fun way to say /weird/ habits
[28.04.2023 23:52:44] Alice.Dee: Well, I try to avoid offense whenever it is possible, Hey you.
[28.04.2023 23:53:46] Alice.Dee: Oh, by the way, you haven't answered my question unless you did without pushing the comms button.
[28.04.2023 23:54:03] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I'm sorry which questions?
[28.04.2023 23:54:03] Alice.Dee: Does your company base here in Tau-23 or do you have No-Fire-Zones in other systems, too?
[28.04.2023 23:54:08] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Oh
[28.04.2023 23:54:29] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I mean if we are nearby any of the other Zoner Freeports I will take the time to enforce, but as to the SLRC
[28.04.2023 23:54:46] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: having /administor/ rights of any of the Freeports, thats a hard no
[28.04.2023 23:54:59] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: We maintain and operate Ikarus only
[28.04.2023 23:55:19] Alice.Dee: I see, so officially only this installation. I will keep that in mind.
[28.04.2023 23:56:20] Alice.Dee: Pardon my curiosity, but I've seen Technocrat vessels here earlier. I take it they are interested in these anomalies, too?
[28.04.2023 23:57:11] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Everyone, their mother, their mothers mothers sister, and her husband all are interested
[28.04.2023 23:58:09] Alice.Dee: Understandable. I am mostly worried about them potentially looking for ways to cause trouble with these anomalies.
[28.04.2023 23:58:27] Alice.Dee: I am certain you can see my point of view.
[28.04.2023 23:58:36] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I mean, if you strap a large enough bomb to anything its going to cause problems
[28.04.2023 23:59:06] SLRC-RS>Orion: Karl: Oh, hey.
[28.04.2023 23:59:12] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Welcome back
[28.04.2023 23:59:24] Alice.Dee: Good day.
[28.04.2023 23:59:48] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Missed the break a little didn't ya
[29.04.2023 00:00:12] SLRC-SEC>Karl.Schwarz: Possibly.
[29.04.2023 00:00:46] SLRC-SEC>Karl.Schwarz: Who is your friend here, Doc?
[29.04.2023 00:00:49] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Karl, Dee, Dee, Karl
[29.04.2023 00:00:57] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Er, Alice
[29.04.2023 00:01:01] SLRC-SEC>Karl.Schwarz: Nice to meet you.
[29.04.2023 00:01:02] Alice.Dee: Short and precise.
[29.04.2023 00:01:02] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I need to find my glasses
[29.04.2023 00:01:07] Alice.Dee: Likewise.
[29.04.2023 00:01:22] Alice.Dee: Your boss and I just talked about these anomalies.
[29.04.2023 00:01:29] Alice.Dee: Or, well, your boss lectured me.
[29.04.2023 00:01:42] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: *snorts loudly* If I"m the boss I'm in a significant amount of debt to be in charge
[29.04.2023 00:01:53] Alice.Dee: Huh, that's probably the one time one can refer to getting lectured in a positive way.
[29.04.2023 00:02:19] Alice.Dee: I see, same company but different department, then?
[29.04.2023 00:02:50] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Uhh, yes, I mean everyone pulls together when needed
[29.04.2023 00:03:06] SLRC-SEC>Karl.Schwarz: I will admit, these lectures I am going through in school are a bit boring, but I am almost done with it, so will be good.
[29.04.2023 00:04:00] Alice.Dee: So, you said the Kusarians tried to "stabilize" this thing?
[29.04.2023 00:04:20] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: That was the rumor, weren't you here for it?
[29.04.2023 00:04:54] Alice.Dee: As mentioned before, I only arrived to get interupted by an Outcast gunboat.
[29.04.2023 00:05:02] Alice.Dee: I do not know what anyone was doing here.
[29.04.2023 00:05:18] Alice.Dee: It was really just me seeing all these snubs around Ikarus.
[29.04.2023 00:05:29] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Ah, well we both missed the show then, only rumors on rumors now
[29.04.2023 00:05:37] Alice.Dee: A shame.
[29.04.2023 00:06:03] Alice.Dee: Huh, another one.
[29.04.2023 00:06:13] Alice.Dee: Good day, or Hey you!
[29.04.2023 00:06:15] SLRC-SEC>Karl.Schwarz: Ah, yes, hello.
[29.04.2023 00:06:21] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: No, only I reply to "hey you"
[29.04.2023 00:06:26] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Reading you all clearly.
[29.04.2023 00:06:32] Alice.Dee: Apologies, then.
[29.04.2023 00:06:47] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: We're outbound for Freeport 10 for supplies, we'll be running this loop a bit today.
[29.04.2023 00:06:47] Alice.Dee: This right will be reserved for the Head of R&D then.
[29.04.2023 00:07:06] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Let me know if the bar got any Rum in, they were out last time
[29.04.2023 00:07:33] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Won't promise there'll be any left for you if that's the case, doctor.
[29.04.2023 00:07:44] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I have a note from MFE, I /need/ it
[29.04.2023 00:07:47] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Medcially
[29.04.2023 00:07:48] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Not if me and my crew get our hands on it.
[29.04.2023 00:08:07] Alice.Dee: MFE?
[29.04.2023 00:08:15] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Ah, Med Force Enterprises
[29.04.2023 00:08:23] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: A Zoner Medical Research Group
[29.04.2023 00:08:29] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: They do for the body what we do to space
[29.04.2023 00:09:06] ... that is quite open for interpretation, but i take it you mean "good".
[29.04.2023 00:09:26] Alice.Dee: ... that is quite open for interpretation, that statement, but I take you mean "good".
[29.04.2023 00:09:43] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I mean, they are the only open teaching hospital in the sector
[29.04.2023 00:09:49] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: That has to count for something
[29.04.2023 00:10:08] Alice.Dee: Space-bound, you mean. But yeah, that sounds good.
[29.04.2023 00:10:32] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Well, I mean who wants to go to a dirty planet and breath unfiltered air
[29.04.2023 00:11:08] Alice.Dee: I wouldn't mind a few days off on Curacao to get some of that unfiltered, oxygen-rich air.
[29.04.2023 00:11:27] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: like you could afford it, I can't even afford to fly by the planet let alone look at it
[29.04.2023 00:12:02] SLRC-SEC>Karl.Schwarz: I can't afford to even fly anywhere near the jump gates to Cortez.
[29.04.2023 00:12:19] Alice.Dee: I am afraid it is above my paygrade, yet the perks of working as spook are certainly being able to go places like that-
[29.04.2023 00:12:32] Alice.Dee: although only for work-related issues.
[29.04.2023 00:12:42] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: *laughs* next you'll tell me you went to the Barbados in Vessup to visit
[29.04.2023 00:13:06] Alice.Dee: I haven't been to the Vespucci system yet, no.
[29.04.2023 00:13:37] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I have, a pretty nice place, well, was at any rate
[29.04.2023 00:13:42] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I doubt its the same now
[29.04.2023 00:14:04] Alice.Dee: Well, apparently it is the final weeks of the Insurgency.
[29.04.2023 00:14:19] Alice.Dee: [Coughing.]
[29.04.2023 00:14:40] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: No doubt one of many reasons why Liberty made peace with gallia
[29.04.2023 00:14:46] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: If not to simply upset your government
[29.04.2023 00:14:53] SLRC-SEC>Karl.Schwarz: I have heard that for a while. Wonder when it will actually happen. [cough]
[29.04.2023 00:15:00] Alice.Dee: Don't remind me.
[29.04.2023 00:15:25] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Wait till you see Gallia start to smooze Kusari, I've even heard rumors that Cryter sent a peacekeeping envoy
[29.04.2023 00:15:39] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: You'll be just as alone as Gallia was at the start of the war
[29.04.2023 00:16:10] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: That'd be a role reversal for the historians to marvel at.
[29.04.2023 00:16:10] A/)-RV-Pentation: Why is there a BIS agent?
[29.04.2023 00:16:15] Alice.Dee: I can only say that my personal opinions on what is currently happening among the higher-ups is not exactly meeting my-
[29.04.2023 00:16:18] Alice.Dee: expectations.
[29.04.2023 00:16:30] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Visitor, if I had to guess.
[29.04.2023 00:16:42] A/)-RV-Pentation: Uh, hey there, SLRC vessels
[29.04.2023 00:16:47] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Much like any freeport Ikarus is now a home to many who aren't able to land at Java
[29.04.2023 00:17:00] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: we should just tow 10 into this system
[29.04.2023 00:17:12] Alice.Dee: Would be easier on the eyes, for sure.
[29.04.2023 00:17:17] SLRC-SEC>Karl.Schwarz: Hey!
[29.04.2023 00:18:36] Alice.Dee: Technocrat vessel, I am here on a peaceful mission. Would you be willing to agree to a temporary ceasefire in the spirit-
[29.04.2023 00:18:42] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: The boys stationside tell me they're scanns are complete on this one, we'll destablize it now for safety sake
[29.04.2023 00:18:43] Alice.Dee: of the Ikarus No-Fire-Zone?
[29.04.2023 00:18:56] A/)-RV-Pentation: I intend to not seek any violence here, agent
[29.04.2023 00:19:08] Alice.Dee: Then we have an agreement.
[29.04.2023 00:20:08] Alice.Dee: So, just out of curiosity, Hey you, given I see myself as unable to dock on Java for hopefully obvious reasons-
[29.04.2023 00:20:19] Alice.Dee: would this mean I have permission to dock on Ikarus?
[29.04.2023 00:20:43] Alice.Dee: Just from a technical standpoint.
[29.04.2023 00:20:47] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I'd need you to file on our nural net page, the Director is pertty admiment about that
[29.04.2023 00:21:01] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: But I haven't ever seen anyone rejected, just told to stay out of the areas helpfully marked "keep out"
[29.04.2023 00:21:50] Alice.Dee: If you could forward that document to me, that would be much appreciated.
[29.04.2023 00:21:51] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: There is another station in the area, a carrier to...well sort of a carrier
[29.04.2023 00:22:21] Alice.Dee: I have, in fact, contacted one of your fellow members about an hour ago for the sake of asking the same questions-
[29.04.2023 00:22:27] Alice.Dee: you already answered earlier.
[29.04.2023 00:22:58] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I sort of function as a PR rep, when forced to
[29.04.2023 00:23:22] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: We should really hire specialists for that.
[29.04.2023 00:23:36] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I asked for more funding but was told to us an Intern
[29.04.2023 00:23:42] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: And this years graduates are....subpar
[29.04.2023 00:23:52] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: One even rolled his eyes at me
[29.04.2023 00:23:57] Alice.Dee: You certainly haven't done the worst job so far.
[29.04.2023 00:23:58] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: The /nerve/
[29.04.2023 00:24:05] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: The absolute nerve.
[29.04.2023 00:25:41] Alice.Dee: Ah yes, I found it.
[29.04.2023 00:25:52] Alice.Dee: I will send a message there, later.
[29.04.2023 00:26:10] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: great, like I said more the Directors request, just to keep things
[29.04.2023 00:26:23] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: /pleasent/ with some of the researchers who use our facilities
[29.04.2023 00:26:33] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: We should turn Hangar C into a quasi-boot camp. I'll whip some discipline into those interns, just you watch.
[29.04.2023 00:27:36] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: You find me the funding for it
[29.04.2023 00:27:39] Alice.Dee: I take it people on Ikarus are respecting the Ikarian NFZ on-station as much as in space?
[29.04.2023 00:28:18] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: That is the goal, realisiticly its also to prevent
[29.04.2023 00:28:30] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Information leaks, after all we are on the forfront of...whatever these are
[29.04.2023 00:29:15] Alice.Dee: Good. Given the Technocraft vessel sits close to Ikarus, as if it is the most natural thing, I take it Technocrats are on -
[29.04.2023 00:29:27] Alice.Dee: station, too? Not that I mind that.
[29.04.2023 00:29:47] Alice.Dee: I just want to make sure I keep the same body hole count.
[29.04.2023 00:30:13] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: the Consortium maintains relations with /all/ researchers, no matter their house, creed, or claimed space
[29.04.2023 00:30:15] Alice.Dee: As I can see that they wouldn't be too happy about a Bretonian spook in the same four walls as them.
[29.04.2023 00:30:33] Alice.Dee: Noble. I will respect that.
[29.04.2023 00:30:41] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Well, not /everyone/ would agree
[29.04.2023 00:31:18] A/)-RV-Pentation: I am a researcher by my own profession
[29.04.2023 00:32:05] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Breaks...BREAKS....BREAAAAAAAAKKKKKSSSS
[29.04.2023 00:32:23] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: We are moving at a particularly managable impulse.
[29.04.2023 00:32:29] Alice.Dee: ... uhm, everything alright, Hey You?
[29.04.2023 00:32:44] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Eris above and below I thought it was Karl at the helm blowing by the landing point
[29.04.2023 00:33:19] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: The rookie? He did position himself periously close to our fore section as we approached to moor.
[29.04.2023 00:33:43] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Who taught that kid to fly?
[29.04.2023 00:33:54] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I wasn't in mangment when he was hired. so not I
[29.04.2023 00:34:14] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Blame our chief intern, now absent.
[29.04.2023 00:34:37] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: *chuckles* The more Sailis is absent the larger bill I can run up on Lividia
[29.04.2023 00:35:38] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: So, what'd we do to be graced by a Bretonian agent?
[29.04.2023 00:35:59] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Someone expose our gin stockpile?
[29.04.2023 00:36:06] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: BIS is freaking out that Gallia and Liberty ended the cold war, now they are trying to get to the gin stockpile
[29.04.2023 00:36:21] Alice.Dee: Caught red-handed!
[29.04.2023 00:36:39] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: I'll turn coats and be your man on the inside for the small price of, hrm...
[29.04.2023 00:36:47] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: I'd like Cambridge.
[29.04.2023 00:37:05] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: At least ask for the Reserach Station in Orbit too
[29.04.2023 00:37:14] Alice.Dee: I am afraid my presence is based on less entertaining reasons. To be blunt, I was mostly curious about the anomalies, -
[29.04.2023 00:37:17] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: You'll have to get that in a separate deal.
[29.04.2023 00:37:27] Alice.Dee: and Hey you was nice enough to explain things to me.
[29.04.2023 00:37:42] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I really should publish a paper about them
[29.04.2023 00:37:51] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Set the record stright
[29.04.2023 00:38:05] SLRC-EV>Tachyon: About your drinking problem? Yeah you should.
[29.04.2023 00:38:06] Alice.Dee: I'd read it. I can't promise I'd understand all words, but I'd try.
[29.04.2023 00:38:16] SLRC-EV>Tachyon: [He laughs.]
[29.04.2023 00:38:32] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Ngheheheh.
[29.04.2023 00:38:55] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: "Intelligence" agent, I see.
[29.04.2023 00:39:34] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Being that most of my concerns end on this side of the docking collar - what's so interesting about them, then?
[29.04.2023 00:39:34] SLRC-EV>Tachyon: Time to make my runs for batteries, seems we're a bit low. If you'll excuse me. [He nods.]
[29.04.2023 00:39:40] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Ta-ta
[29.04.2023 00:39:45] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Confirmed.
[29.04.2023 00:40:22] Alice.Dee: About the anomalies?
[29.04.2023 00:40:31] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: That's correct.
[29.04.2023 00:41:03] Alice.Dee: Well, they are anomal. That is essentially enough reason to study them.
[29.04.2023 00:41:10] Alice.Dee: I mean, that is what you do, right?
[29.04.2023 00:41:20] A/)-RV-Pentation: So, you are here to study anomalies?
[29.04.2023 00:41:31] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: No, they do food, fuel, and most imporantly, minibar restock
[29.04.2023 00:41:41] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: That's what -they- do. [He points out the bridge windows through the feed.]
[29.04.2023 00:41:59] Alice.Dee: I am here to ask those who do to explain things to me.
[29.04.2023 00:42:12] Alice.Dee: Luckily I found someone who specialises in such things.
[29.04.2023 00:42:31] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I changed my mind about the paper, apparently we can have these things call conferences
[29.04.2023 00:42:38] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: And they are usually hosted in /nice/ locations
[29.04.2023 00:42:42] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Like /really/ nice
[29.04.2023 00:42:54] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Like little chocoltes on the bed nice
[29.04.2023 00:43:01] Alice.Dee: Like Curacao?
[29.04.2023 00:43:24] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Damn sight better than my idea.
[29.04.2023 00:43:26] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: And I get to go for free as the Keynote speaker, any everyone else, get this, everyone else pays to hear me speak
[29.04.2023 00:45:21] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: If I was the agent, I'd probably prefer something more colloquial.
[29.04.2023 00:45:37] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Conferences put laypeople to sleep.
[29.04.2023 00:45:50] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: -Especially- when the venue isn't Curacao.
[29.04.2023 00:46:12] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Watch the Director only approve a venue for Pygar
[29.04.2023 00:46:18] Alice.Dee: Can't say that's wrong to assume.
[29.04.2023 00:46:20] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Hole in the wall way
[29.04.2023 00:47:14] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: The cities on Pygar are very accomodating.
[29.04.2023 00:47:24] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: As long as you don't mind never seeing the sun.
[29.04.2023 00:47:32] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: or the bugs *shutters*
[29.04.2023 00:48:07] Alice.Dee: As a Bretonian, I can say that the sun has always been a rare sight planetside.
[29.04.2023 00:48:16] Alice.Dee: Except for the nerds on Cambridge.
[29.04.2023 00:48:31] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Between the hellfire that is Leeds, and whats smoldering on New London
[29.04.2023 00:49:17] Alice.Dee: I can't say the change from omnipresent rain clouds to omnipresent smoke clouds was most pleasant.
[29.04.2023 00:49:30] A/)-RV-Pentation: I wonder how'd you handle the lack of essential vitamins without the sun
[29.04.2023 00:49:49] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: We already have a daily supplement fix, I'd do it the same way
[29.04.2023 00:50:08] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: That's how it's done belowground, as well.
[29.04.2023 00:50:39] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: If I recall, they had plans on Pygar to build some surface biodomes accessible from below.
[29.04.2023 00:50:57] Alice.Dee: Is that adviseable with those wind speeds?
[29.04.2023 00:51:04] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: It's only feasible in areas with deep canyons.
[29.04.2023 00:51:13] Alice.Dee: I guess.
[29.04.2023 00:51:14] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Which, rather defeats the purpose.
[29.04.2023 00:51:18] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Might as well just build underground at that rate
[29.04.2023 00:52:16] Alice.Dee: Oh, by the way, just out of curiosity.
[29.04.2023 00:52:53] Alice.Dee: I take it, just remembering your way of greeting me, the stance of Starlight Research is rather cold to Bretonia in general?
[29.04.2023 00:53:29] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: The Consortium maintains nutrual relations with all entities as expected of the Zoner community, but I do not forgive
[29.04.2023 00:54:01] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Quite as easliy, nor do I forget some of the horrers inflicted on Caniara while you claimed Leeds was a genoside
[29.04.2023 00:54:19] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Everyone is /equally/ as guilty
[29.04.2023 00:54:40] Alice.Dee: That is your prerogative and quite understandable. I hold no ill will to you for that opinion.
[29.04.2023 00:55:12] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Don't you worry, I have as much contempt for Gallia as well, but realisiticly, well, you don't watch a 10 year war drag
[29.04.2023 00:55:20] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: on and expect to be able to put up as equal of a fight
[29.04.2023 00:55:27] Alice.Dee: As I said before, I personally do not necessarily agree with all choices the political and military leaderships made in the-
[29.04.2023 00:55:29] Alice.Dee: past.
[29.04.2023 00:55:36] Alice.Dee: ... or even in the present.
[29.04.2023 00:55:53] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Speaking only for myself, the news out of Freeport 14 during the Crown's peacekeeping action in Inverness...
[29.04.2023 00:56:13] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: ...didn't give me much confidence in our neighbors down that way.
[29.04.2023 00:56:28] A/)-RV-Pentation: The news isn't a reliable mouthpiece in most cases
[29.04.2023 00:56:47] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: 14 is OSI's problem to be frank, they overinvested in that.../mess/
[29.04.2023 00:57:03] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Should have left it in that other darkmatter hellhole we got dragged to the other day
[29.04.2023 00:57:25] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: So agent, where do you hope to see Bretonia in ten years?
[29.04.2023 00:57:58] Alice.Dee: Oh god, that's a question you'd ask during a job interview.
[29.04.2023 00:58:02] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: In another war with Kuari, oh sorry I thought we were taking bets on predictions
[29.04.2023 00:58:49] Alice.Dee: If you want my personal hopes, then I'd say at peace, cooperating and thriving with the other houses.
[29.04.2023 00:59:09] Alice.Dee: Reality, though, makes me wonder how far off we can get from that hope.
[29.04.2023 00:59:30] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Silver.Serpent, Identify
[29.04.2023 01:00:01] Silver.Serpent: You sort of just did, zoner.
[29.04.2023 01:00:12] Alice.Dee: Not entirely wrong.
[29.04.2023 01:00:22] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Okay wise guy, got a name or should we just call you "hey you"
[29.04.2023 01:00:29] Silver.Serpent: Works for me.
[29.04.2023 01:00:37] Alice.Dee: A second Hey you, good.
[29.04.2023 01:00:39] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: I thought "Hey you" was taken, doctor.
[29.04.2023 01:00:45] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Well shit, Alice you'll have to figure out something else to call me
[29.04.2023 01:01:18] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Got any fine predictions on the state of House Bretonia ten years from now, Serpent?
[29.04.2023 01:01:20] A/)-RV-Pentation: Nice to see you again, freelancer
[29.04.2023 01:01:23] Alice.Dee: How about PhD Hey you for you, and Lich Hey you for Silver Serpent?
[29.04.2023 01:01:45] Silver.Serpent: Shittier than it is now most likely.
[29.04.2023 01:02:06] Alice.Dee: Not unreasonable to assume.
[29.04.2023 01:02:09] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Chances are good.
[29.04.2023 01:02:19] Silver.Serpent: Mostly on account of their incessant need to harass independents.
[29.04.2023 01:02:51] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I still think Gallia takes the cake for being worse to fly in, last time I was there these two Union Corse people tried
[29.04.2023 01:02:58] Alice.Dee: Did you, specifically, get harassed? Or just in general?
[29.04.2023 01:02:59] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: To fleace me for my research reports
[29.04.2023 01:03:31] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: The family was just extending the famous Gallic hospitality.
[29.04.2023 01:03:35] Silver.Serpent: I wouldn't consider the better dressed junkers of Gallia, as Gallia itself.
[29.04.2023 01:04:58] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: I heard from one of the doctors that Chartres had some damn fine restaurants.
[29.04.2023 01:05:20] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: I'm not about to play at being a sociologist, though.
[29.04.2023 01:05:23] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Isn't gallic food just a bunch of snails, why would you want that as /fine/ dinning
[29.04.2023 01:05:55] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: You'd have to ask her, I don't drag my crew into House space.
[29.04.2023 01:06:13] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Show of hands, has anyone here eatten in gallia?
[29.04.2023 01:06:29] Silver.Serpent: I stick to rice for the most part.
[29.04.2023 01:06:29] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Otherwise I'd have to assume the food is indeable and the real reason for the war against Siruis
[29.04.2023 01:06:32] Alice.Dee: You can't see it but I am not raising my hand.
[29.04.2023 01:07:43] Silver.Serpent: It would be strange if a Bretonian queen's personal dog had eaten in Gallia.
[29.04.2023 01:08:08] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: Dog food is better.
[29.04.2023 01:08:18] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: ...what?
[29.04.2023 01:08:25] Silver.Serpent: You've eaten dog food?
[29.04.2023 01:08:46] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: In my defense, I was drunk, it was college, and it was a dare.
[29.04.2023 01:08:47] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: *takings notes* Gallic food is equal to dog food, okay what else?
[29.04.2023 01:09:04] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: Possibly rush week.
[29.04.2023 01:09:04] Alice.Dee: I can assure you, with the food rationing enacted after the loss of Leeds and parts of New London, what we got was not-
[29.04.2023 01:09:10] Alice.Dee: too far off from dog food.
[29.04.2023 01:09:30] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Reminds me of the emergency ration loafs
[29.04.2023 01:09:33] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Compare it to synth paste so I can establish a frame of reference.
[29.04.2023 01:09:51] Alice.Dee: Synth paste has artificial taste enhancers.
[29.04.2023 01:09:53] Silver.Serpent: Synth Paste is worse than dog food I'd imagine.
[29.04.2023 01:09:55] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: only 500 grams and enough energy to keep a human alive for 2 days
[29.04.2023 01:10:17] Silver.Serpent: Should get your hands on some military ration units.
[29.04.2023 01:10:37] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I prefer my posion to be liquid in type, chilled, in a glass
[29.04.2023 01:11:00] Alice.Dee: There have been times when people got not much more than processed algae from Cambridge.
[29.04.2023 01:11:18] Silver.Serpent: I hear getting a bullet from your protectors is fairly common in Bretonia.
[29.04.2023 01:11:19] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: He's still bitter we emptied out 10's rum supply, you can hear it in his voice.
[29.04.2023 01:11:41] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: See Alice, I'm not the only one
[29.04.2023 01:12:02] Alice.Dee: Certainly not the only Hey You.
[29.04.2023 01:12:14] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: You can't see it but I just rolled my eyes
[29.04.2023 01:12:21] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Speaking of Sailas
[29.04.2023 01:12:26] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: This new batch of Interns
[29.04.2023 01:12:29] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Pretty bad
[29.04.2023 01:12:34] Alice.Dee: [Silent chuckle.]
[29.04.2023 01:12:38] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Whos on the hiring committy again?
[29.04.2023 01:12:47] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: You are.
[29.04.2023 01:12:52] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Shit
[29.04.2023 01:12:56] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Don't look at me. I opted out.
[29.04.2023 01:13:30] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: So we've got you to blame for the kid's poor sense of self-preservation and flight skills.
[29.04.2023 01:13:43] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: No, I didn't hire Karl, we established that
[29.04.2023 01:14:00] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: But I did hire this batch of Interns, something....I'll have to amend
[29.04.2023 01:14:02] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Then it sounds like he let himself in.
[29.04.2023 01:14:07] Silver.Serpent: Things are bad enough for you that you're hiring fighter pilots?
[29.04.2023 01:14:20] Silver.Serpent: Or is it just a precaution.
[29.04.2023 01:14:24] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: Security is always important out here.
[29.04.2023 01:14:31] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: You know where we are right, Alice, tell him, my mother, mothers mothers aunt, you know
[29.04.2023 01:14:53] Alice.Dee: Oh, yeah, sure. What he said.
[29.04.2023 01:15:04] Silver.Serpent: I do what I can to keep the Outcasts at bay. More than any of the three houses will do for you.
[29.04.2023 01:15:04] Alice.Dee: Hey, who's operating the Odd Ratio, if I may ask?
[29.04.2023 01:15:05] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Ideally we'd be bringing on militia vets who know their way around an Osprey.
[29.04.2023 01:15:40] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: Dr. Sailas Montgomery, Director SLRC.
[29.04.2023 01:15:55] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: [A hacking cough.]
[29.04.2023 01:15:57] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: I lead these merry band of idi-uh-scientists.
[29.04.2023 01:16:02] Alice.Dee: Oh, so you are the actual boss boss. I see.
[29.04.2023 01:16:14] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: /Director/ is the PR term, since I'm doing that now too apparently
[29.04.2023 01:16:27] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: You just made me choke on my drink.
[29.04.2023 01:16:35] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: Yeah, I'm in charge doing all the work. Typical. [He smirks.]
[29.04.2023 01:16:40] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: When the hell did you get back, doc?
[29.04.2023 01:16:51] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Shortly after he left
[29.04.2023 01:16:55] Alice.Dee: I recall you have been present earlier today when the Kusarians were around, when the Outcasts interupted the gathering here.
[29.04.2023 01:17:04] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: Couple of days ago.
[29.04.2023 01:17:24] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: Indeed. No sooner than I got the Antibody out, everyone scattered.
[29.04.2023 01:17:59] Alice.Dee: Well, hopefully for the better. I must say I was surprised to find myself in a situation where a Gallic Bomber, two KNF pilots-
[29.04.2023 01:18:00] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: *chuckles* we should bring out the colon----CARRIER, we could bring the Carrier out, watch them scatter
[29.04.2023 01:18:09] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Because we have a carrier, yeppers
[29.04.2023 01:18:10] Alice.Dee: and a BIS agent would take on a bunch of Outcasts.
[29.04.2023 01:18:20] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: What was that, Brad?
[29.04.2023 01:18:35] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Nothing you need to worry about, just resting up after your long trip away
[29.04.2023 01:18:43] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: That needs to be your main focus
[29.04.2023 01:18:50] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: [He narrows his eyes.]
[29.04.2023 01:19:02] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: You know I already read your expense reports...
[29.04.2023 01:19:04] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: By the way, I hear Lividia is closed right now, don't try to go visist
[29.04.2023 01:19:16] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Uhhh, well, you saw the repair bill
[29.04.2023 01:19:24] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: Including the ones you tried to hide.
[29.04.2023 01:19:35] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: So... we -had- a carrier?
[29.04.2023 01:19:37] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Techniclly you did approve capital expesnes
[29.04.2023 01:19:43] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: Don't lose this one.
[29.04.2023 01:19:54] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Up until it got chewed up by a rather...large nomad
[29.04.2023 01:20:13] Alice.Dee: A large nomad?
[29.04.2023 01:20:16] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: And look at it this way Sailas, it only cost us half of what it would cost to build one from scratch
[29.04.2023 01:20:46] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: I wasn't aware we had a vessel like that in our budget, but that's why I stay concerned about this ship only.
[29.04.2023 01:21:04] Silver.Serpent: The black magic of zoners.
[29.04.2023 01:21:11] A/)-RV-Pentation: Alright, I'll take my leave for now, seems I need to rest
[29.04.2023 01:21:11] Silver.Serpent: Always amusing.
[29.04.2023 01:21:14] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: Our budget is out the window now.
[29.04.2023 01:21:24] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: It wasn't in the budget persay, but Sean Goodman had command of one when he joined up, we mearly adapted it for
[29.04.2023 01:21:30] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: Safe travels.
[29.04.2023 01:21:31] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Hyperspace cartography
[29.04.2023 01:21:34] Alice.Dee: Thank you for the ceasefire, Technocrat. I appreciate it.
[29.04.2023 01:21:48] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Ta-ta Pentation, bring back some Rum will ya
[29.04.2023 01:21:51] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Pentation is on departure vector. Safe journey.
[29.04.2023 01:22:28] Silver.Serpent: If someone pays me to kill you, they won't be able to identify your corpse. Or find you for that matter.
[29.04.2023 01:22:46] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: Lovely sentiment, that.
[29.04.2023 01:22:51] CONSOLE: Possible cheating detected: GMG|Karaji.Maru
[29.04.2023 01:23:02] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: *sighs* Hang on let me find the paper, *coughs* The SLRC maintains an NFZ around Ikarus, all groups are welcome....
[29.04.2023 01:23:09] Silver.Serpent: The only sentiment to speak of is what they did to Aland.
[29.04.2023 01:23:11] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Can I skip this part, surely you are smart enough
[29.04.2023 01:23:28] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: No killing.../here/ anyways
[29.04.2023 01:23:37] Silver.Serpent: Depends on how much I'm paid.
[29.04.2023 01:23:59] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I hope its worth getting barred from every Zoner facility in the sector
[29.04.2023 01:24:09] Alice.Dee: What happened to Aland was before my time on duty, and as far as I recall, didn't involve the BIS at all.
[29.04.2023 01:24:17] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: was the BIS even a thing back then?
[29.04.2023 01:24:25] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Dee's apparantly not much of a fan of Bret policy, besides the matter.
[29.04.2023 01:24:37] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: We won't tell.
[29.04.2023 01:24:54] Alice.Dee: The SIS was active back then, the Overseer branch did not exist back then.
[29.04.2023 01:25:01] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: If your going to hate on them at least make sure its their fault
[29.04.2023 01:25:20] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: What's the Overseer branch oversee?
[29.04.2023 01:25:32] Silver.Serpent: You don't have the authority to bar anyone from every Zoner facility in the sector.
[29.04.2023 01:25:56] Silver.Serpent: If you did, I'd imagine something would've been done about Canaria.
[29.04.2023 01:25:57] Alice.Dee: Primarily, other active instances of Bretonian Intelligence. Secondarily, I am assigned to patrol the Taus.
[29.04.2023 01:26:07] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I don't do the cheast thumping and the brow beating, don't shoot anyone here, saves us both the trouble
[29.04.2023 01:26:23] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I'd like to see anyone take on a house and win, Gallia tried for 10 years and didn't even make a good go of it
[29.04.2023 01:26:32] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: Real bastard, isn't he?
[29.04.2023 01:26:40] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Its to be expected from a Freelancer
[29.04.2023 01:26:50] Alice.Dee: Essentially my primary objective is to slap the fingers of SIS agents that go too far.
[29.04.2023 01:26:50] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: never their brightest or best....
[29.04.2023 01:27:05] Alice.Dee: So, you see I am quite interested in the case you mentioned about Omicron Delta.
[29.04.2023 01:27:19] Silver.Serpent: So you're walking propaganda.
[29.04.2023 01:27:39] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Well, maybe its a good time to say I didn't personally witness the SIS agent, but Sean did
[29.04.2023 01:27:46] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: And we've worked together for years
[29.04.2023 01:27:48] Alice.Dee: I'm not sure how you would come to that conclusion, but I will not make attempts to correct you.
[29.04.2023 01:28:19] Silver.Serpent: You claim to have the authority to "slap" the SIS, which last I checked, was the governing body of Bretonian Intelligence,
[29.04.2023 01:28:23] Silver.Serpent: and served the Queen herself.
[29.04.2023 01:28:25] Alice.Dee: If you can get Sean to forward any information to me via neural net, that would be appreciated.
[29.04.2023 01:28:51] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I'll talk to him, but I'm going to want something out of it
[29.04.2023 01:29:05] Alice.Dee: With utmost respect, Silver Serpent, but I happen to know my job designation a bit better than an outsider with a sharp tongue.
[29.04.2023 01:29:38] Silver.Serpent: I'm sure you do. That's why the Outcasts are still allowed within Bretonia's borders.
[29.04.2023 01:29:58] Silver.Serpent: Because you aren't here in the Taus to help the locals.
[29.04.2023 01:30:04] Alice.Dee: ... what has that to do with-
[29.04.2023 01:30:08] Alice.Dee: Well, nevermind.
[29.04.2023 01:30:15] Alice.Dee: I can see this is not going anywhere.
[29.04.2023 01:30:22] Silver.Serpent: Nope.
[29.04.2023 01:30:23] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: *chuckles*
[29.04.2023 01:30:24] SLRC-RV>Odd.Ratio: Sailas: Done for the evening. Stay safe, all. Brad, see me later about your /ship/.
[29.04.2023 01:30:39] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: *sigh* Yep, first thing when I get in
[29.04.2023 01:31:21] Silver.Serpent: Canaria, Aland, Holman, and allying themselves with the Outcasts.
[29.04.2023 01:31:29] Silver.Serpent: You serve Bretonia, you bare the consequences of their sins.
[29.04.2023 01:31:33] Alice.Dee: Anyway, Zoner Hey You, of course we can find something in return for the requested information.
[29.04.2023 01:32:23] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Well, its a /wee/ bit of an ask, but I'm sure we can come to an understanding, I'll contact you directly with
[29.04.2023 01:32:27] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Our needs
[29.04.2023 01:32:33] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: I must be out of the loop with this Delta incident.
[29.04.2023 01:32:38] Alice.Dee: Excellent. I am looking forward to that.
[29.04.2023 01:32:40] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: I probably don't want to know.
[29.04.2023 01:32:54] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Is not fuel, food, or booze you dont need to worry your little head about it
[29.04.2023 01:33:33] Alice.Dee: Unless there is anything else, I will take my leave for now. I'm sure you'll enjoy the presence of this party machine over-
[29.04.2023 01:33:35] Alice.Dee: there.
[29.04.2023 01:33:49] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: I was actually thinking about getting dinner myself
[29.04.2023 01:34:00] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Far away from here, gonna have to miss that stern talking to with the Director
[29.04.2023 01:34:05] Silver.Serpent: You can't tell but I waved at you.
[29.04.2023 01:34:21] SLRC-RS>Commutator: H: If you ever get tired of being quality assurance for your government, capable pilots are always handy here.
[29.04.2023 01:34:36] Alice.Dee: I will keep that in mind.
[29.04.2023 01:35:04] Alice.Dee: Safe skies, Researchers.
[29.04.2023 01:35:20] SLRC-RV>Aurora.Borealis: Brad: Ta-ta
