Surprise! your IFF now lists all liberty as an enemy, can't transit anymore, you'll be fired on by liberty. IFF doesn't list liberty as an enemy in my F8 of who is enemy of zoner or outworld assembly.

SO for an RP suggestion. go ahead and make it known, anyone in Liberty not bending a knee to Liberty is now an enemy of Liberty. Liberty Congress has now voted to rename to space, the People's republic of liberty, or maybe the 4th Reich

you can blame the zoner official factions for this actually.
they declared liberty hostile to them through something called an FR5 (faction right 5), and made liberty hostile first (See here). due to how that works, liberty become hostile as a reaction.
liberty had no intention to make zoners hostile as a whole. they did it to themselves
