Freedom Fighters Claim Responsibility For Attack On Refinery
Belle Valley, Erie - A recent attack on one of the largest neon refineries in the Belle Valley region scared the populace in the capital of Union City. The fires could be seen for miles away, and multiple explosions rocked the surrounding areas. Mystery and rumors started spreading quickly, until a video went viral within the local networks.

The video in question shows a group of men with their faces covered in red and black cloth, armed and wearing body armor. The fires from the refinery is seen in the distant background. "No resource from Erie shall fall into the enemy's hands" - The man in the video speaks firmly, supporting his rifle on his chest. "If we can not have what is rightfully ours, Liberty shall never have it!" - He steps towards the side, and the camera zooms into the inferno. He finishes his speech with determination, asking for the population to take arms against Liberty oppression and to save their own people from the concentration camps.

A surprise even to Liberty's "peacekeeping" force, It is the largest attack on Erie's illegally controlled infrastructure since the great Jump Gate Blackout event in 831 that knocked down the freedom fighters' supply lines. Such daring strike could mean that the militants finally feel comfortable with their supplies and personnel, but only time will tell the reality of this situation.

Libertad attempted contact with pro-independence groups for clarification and additional information. While all groups did not want to comment on this sensitive matter, Libertad received an anonymous communication which read "It was the men from the Pennsylvania Liberation Front. Couldn't be anyone else. destruction is their signature".

After incredible devastation, the population of Union City fear more frequent and more destructive attacks and the consequent reprisal coming from the Liberty forces. Disagreement towards the freedom fighters' actions is frequently heard by the workers of the Maartens Refinery - which are now unemployed until the refinery resumes normal operation.

My heart goes out to the workers affected by the act, but in a war, sacrifices must always be made. Unfortunately, this is going to be even bloodier than GC was. If the people on the ground want to handle this right, they'll put together a community fund to keep those workers housed and fed, and thru looking out for their community by such, some of those workers may choose to join the freedom fighters.

I've already done my part. Praying for Erie and all her people. Keep up the good fight, Remember Canaria!

Another black day for Erie. The resistance organisations are too proud to accept Liberty, not in a million years. We may never see the end of this conflict...
Meanwhile the two have at each other throats, innocent people get caught in the crossfire.

May the three fallen workers rest in peace, and may they find the two missing individuals.
