The Bundschuh have rarely ever been a faction that have been played due to their in-game strength or anything conveyed by their ID. Instead, they've long been a "niche" group whose factions have lived or died by the efforts of their members' patience and care in trying to write gripping and interesting stories for the wider Discovery community to enjoy.
My own fondest Discovery memories are from VWA| and from its constituent writers that I miss terribly, the likes of players like @Commissar. @TheJarl, @Char Aznable and others I'm doubtlessly forgetting after almost a decade since then.
My own goal with this faction is to recapture some of the "glory days" of VWA| that I think are what has kept me popping back in to Discovery every so often, and in that regard I think that The Platform's "main goal" will be to help bring some much-needed substance and character to the "background lore fluff" in Rheinland and beyond. If you'd like to attempt to do the same I'd encourage you to consider joining us and seeing if we can't bring more gravitas to one of the Houses in Sirius that arguably needs it the most.
Of course, "forumlancing" is only part of the Discovery Freelancer experience, and I can promise the community that the Platform will strive to if at all possible make any roleplay encounter fair, enjoyable, and well-written, both in and out of the space shooter setting.

Hello all, just @Civil Servant here, trying to work up on some political expansion on the Platform because it seems like we weren't exactly being too clear on what our goals are overall, Or how we would treat other organizations considering our anti-authoritarian and anti-corporate angle. While stating clearly hostile or rival intentions against said groups, these still need to be carried with enough weight with pro-democracy elements to justify us as the more politically extreme sect of the greater Bundschuh.
First was updating the basis for both civilian and paramilitary methods and ambitions under post #1, how they work to effectively achieve the collective goals of the Bundschuh rather than satisfying financial goals like corporations. Certainly not my strongest area but I've had some help understanding how co-operatives work along the way from some very good friends.
I've updated the diplomacy on post #2 to fit what we've done what has been established with other groups, or what has generally evolved story wise that we would adapt to. This should help if other players when looking to interact with the Platform as an intermediary for work or with direct relations. Or to expect when money doesn't work in a piracy bribe!
