does the AI ID gives bonuses?
And do you have t have IFF /OD/Ship and lasers to receive the bonus? or you will get as much as you have (if you only have ship per say or ship and iff only?)

AI id does not give bonuses as far as I know, but I don't see why rogue AIs would be sitting in fields mining asteroids.

how about to fix themselves, i know there is no Harvester ID btut the harvesters need to mine different components to survive,,

I'd say, that as both Daumann and Kruger abuse workers that humans are still more efficient than robots, so maybe have it as a prototype and flawed model?

The example of a capable AI would also force the workers to work harder to keep their jobs, thus maybe the threat from the companies of using automated miners is greater than the actual use.
