Dear Mrs Raichert,
My name is Cailleach, or such is the pseudonym I use in these dealings. I represent the administration of a facility ran by the Lane Hackers in the Texas system called Rowlett Hagworks.
The plans for Rowlett is for it to grow into a fine advanced materials laboratory and equipment manufactory. Currently we have the know-how - there is no shortage of brilliant researchers in our midst, both ex-Ageira and from elsewhere - but procuring the materials to expand and fit our vision has proven difficult, at least at the pace we wished for.
It is to that end that we opened this sadly underutilized line of communication. We know the ALG has vast experience in the construction of space infrastructure, especially in hazardous environments as is the case. If you are able and willing we would very much like to work with you on this project. We hope to hear from you soon.

'Cailleach',
Ms Raichtert has forwarded your message to Corporate Security, Division V. I am one of their operatives. We generally handle sensitive diplomatic contacts such as this one.
Since we are working with pseudonyms, you can call me M. It has been some time since we had contact with a Lane Hacker network. We assume you are not associated with the old Professorship?
In any case, we are principally open to the idea of granting support in the form of material and expertise. Texas is a difficult location however, given its relatively high security levels compared to border worlds locations. The best start may be a visit to the site.

It is a pleasure, M, and a pleasure to hear of ALGs openness in regards to this matter.
Our group is in fact not associated with the old Professorship. The inner circle has grown increasingly distant over the years and as a result there have been little to no new initiatives on the part of the Hackers as a whole. This is something we are hoping to remedy.
As for the difficulties inherent to the operation, thanks to some extensive groundwork we have managed to prop up a shell company under Ageira's umbrella, Rowlett Aerospacial Research. The Hagworks is officially registered under it and you may conduct business with it legally within Liberty if it so suits the ALG.
More specifically we would like your assistance in expanding the facilities, adding new modules and expanding the clearing around it to allow for this. Alternatively, taking into account the considerable age of the central core a ground-up rebuild may also be considered, if the ALG can spare the time and resources to make it happen. In such case the modules would be reassembled in a new location, as the current one was chosen before the shell company was established.
The location of the facility will also make its way into your systems shortly. If there is anything else we can provide, let us know.

'Cailleach',
If we're going to be operating with a legal entity in the Republic, I might just send this back to Shipping after all. We can work with that, a little awkward though it is. We have good relations with the Lane Hackers, but none with Ageira Technologies. There might be some internal questions as to why we're investing in a project like that, if not external, depending on how public this will become. Construction of a station reactor core is a serious project, more than we can file under "miscellaneous expenses".
In other words, it's going to be expensive. We can't justify such an effort to accounting or any potential observers unless it appears financially sound. That's a matter of appearance, and of practicality.

Our expectations when it comes to the public visibility of Rowlett as a corporation are low. We have engaged in some token contracts with other groups as a means of maintaining the front, but we are curating our public image to the best of our ability to be innocuous and unassuming.
As a fully independent Ageira affiliate you can also count on us to handle all the necessary internal corporate dealings. The ALG would be treated as an external contractor hired for their expertise in the very particular situation Rowlett is engaged in and that would be that.
When it comes to expenses, I am confident we will be able to shoulder the cost of the new reactor core. The Hagworks has long turned a steady profit and this has been the case even before our R&D labs had been fully operational. We expect our available credits to only increase as our new products hit the market.

If you say cost won't be an issue, I'll take your word for it. We will treat the construction as an official business contract, then, although I don't think we will want to broadly advertise it. It'd be preferable if it's kept low profile; there's still going to be questions about it, but I will let accounting answer those with numbers.
Meanwhile, we'll send a construction crew over to draft up plans.
