Short bio:
Born in Gran Canaria in 810 A.S. to a family of Rheinland settlers, Amy had an uninteresting and peaceful yet tough childhood, she was left with few choices as to what professional path to choose to become a useful member of her community; either turn into more basic labor force needed to make the common lives planet-side prosper, or choose a career that required dedication in the prospect of earn a higher degree of freedom that her community always romanticized and aspired to achieve. She decided to follow her brother's path of becoming a pilot after she became fascinated with the life beyond the stars. After a few years of constant education and training she was deemed suitable to fly a Dagger-class light escort, which she used briefly for contraband, assisting a group of radical Zoner smugglers that engaged in planet-side guerrilla along with Corsairs against the Bretonian Armed Forces during their attempt to take over the planet. After Bretonia's focus switched towards colonising Carlisle and all their military assets vacated the system, she decided that her area of expertise better be put to use for a purpose she considered worthy and meaningful, and that's when she heard of the Med Forces, she decided that she had to join their cause.

My name is Valmai Maddox, I'm from Bretonia, I'm an independent scientist studying the adverse effects of alien influence and mechanical interference on the Human biological state and mental integrity.

I've earned my fairshare of training throughout the years during my time in previous active military service. I decided that fighting was not my destiny, and have spent time studying in Cambridge. After my setting in education, my work shifted to independent studies on the alien and unknown. I've seen enough first hand after my deep sorties into the Omicrons on the new dangers that lurk out there.

In interest of expanding my skill set to help grow my skill set, I've inquired the possibility of training further within the medical science field and to further my experience in applying these said skills.

Due to my current circumstances of working independently on my projects, I can only contribute part time, but I am more than willing as a fellow scientist to donate some research data. My hunger for knowledge remains boundless.

I started treating miners and workers in the Taus, often in primitive conditions and with limited equipment. I learned firsthand how vital prompt medical response and reliable backup can be when you're far away from the nearby hospital.

I'm no hero or fighter pilot — just a doctor who wants to make a difference. I've been operating alone for a while now, offering help, patching people up, and learning as I go. But I've realized that I can do so much more as part of a team — especially one that views the world as I do.

It is good to meet you. We are always looking for good doctors to join our team. Your abilities or lack thereof as a fighter pilot do not concern me. I am no hero in the cockpit either nor are a lot of us here. Heros? They do not all wear flight suits.
