-This is a report following the events of March 24, 834 AS-
At around 19:30, during my patrol in the Delta system, I encountered a fairly large group of BDSM vessels.. hold on… sorry- BDM vessels, one of Rheinland’s intelligence groups (MND). The mercenary known as Caliban was noted to be tailing them too, though it wasn’t clear how deep his involvement was.
I approached with caution and inquired about the Rheinlander’s intentions. Receiving no response in turn, I activated my ship's cloaking device and followed them. We ended up stumbling upon the Section 8 agent “Lore” who was able to get some vague answers out of the Rheinlanders. All in all, this whole Rheinland charade was basically just a Nomad hunt.
I managed to hear some other things as well, though, and I’d say it's likely we’ll be seeing more of these BDM forces in the Omicrons in the near future. I advise we do not provoke them. Their intention seems strictly to take down the traitorous infected forces who are posing as “Division 7” MND agents (a made up intelligence group).
We should collect what intel we can on this infected group, "Division 7," and report it to Section 8. Whereabouts, fleet strength, and sensitive information are some good starts.
At the same time, do keep a watchful eye on any BDM boys you see in the Omicrons, and keep in mind that they’re usually a bit more friendly with The Core than they are with us.
