I have noted that a few attempts to have an Ageira faction here have had little apparent success,
and I find that curious since it seems that it has some potential to be awesome since it's a tech giant in a
centrally located house.
I personally took a run at it previously with 2 Ageira bases, but sold them after getting precious little traction
with RP attempts. But this was concurrent with the 5.0 launch when everyone kinda got distracted doing their
own thing within the new possibilities available in that update.
It seems that things have settled a bit since then, and I thought about floating the possibility within the
community to see if there were any players actively working with Ageira or any discernable interest before
making any time-consuming commitments.
To be honest at that point of the Discovery, I'm surprised Ageira and DSE aren't just fused into one corporation.

There's little reason to make an EFL or Ageira faction because you don't get any POB bonuses that aren't already available to GMS or DSE, which also gets mining bonuses. The market for weapons is just way too saturated to be of any appreciable value as well. The only thing that an EFL/Ageira POB can make at an advantage is cloaks, but those are brutal to make anywhere either of those groups can reasonably put down a POB.

Thanks.
I figured there must be a reason why it hasn't been done,
And now I know.
Cheers!
There is a slight boon for Ageira being that they have an easy route to Earhart for mining the materials within. Though, technically you could do the same with LSF, as well.
As an alternative: Interspace has some potential as a faction - They can dock on several different Unlawful Factions' bases.
Interspace also has a (mostly) true piracy line on their ID too, which they can make use of in any system with a Sirian Trade Lane! (vs non-Gallic Corp ships, anyway. Basically a ship a galactic bank/insurance company could reasonably target with a "Limited, One-Time Insurance Warranty" scheme).
The Core, BHG, KuCiv and Renzu Ship tech access is a nice plus, too! Imagine credit piracy in the borderworlds using a Hunter Bottlenose or Core Blacktip! Or you could even be a "Forced Escort Service," taking some money and then since you're technically Lawful, you can then scout/escort them to their destination.
Main downside w/Interspace is, you're limited to 3.6k transports, except for the Shukensha.
