Yeah it's a diary I guess.

25.07.834 - Arcetri inspection

My own project. Amazing idea to say yes to. Getting the Arcetri people up to speed on protocols and our tactics. Fucking should have said no right away.
Their company hasn't even been running that long. Has ran on group loans. Barely sell some big shipment to whoever and they do that whole big leagues bravado.
Told me about financial freedom for the Independent Worlds or something before showing me 'my team'. I thought they were kidding. Those guys voted. VOTED to look like that.
Images of a crew of various experience clad in some black and grey combat-y uniform went through her mind.
I should have asked them what they were thinking but I was too speechless I guess... They looked like Xenos but in a way that Xenos don't. Super clean well fitting uniforms and that stupid platinum pin with the A. Would probably cost me a few salaries but it's what they use as an employee badge.

Yeah great start. We went through all the prep, routines and stuff only for them to finally connect to station. Big mistake. They see a large Interspace transport full of platinum ore, Arcetri got on radar and they wanna go at it. So we break moor and go after it. Did a right shit job at convincing the Interspace ship to drop off his cargo in-system only to be met with instant DSE response from Freeport 12 of all places. Zoner Freeport my ass. Saw Interspace ships coming and going with supplies. Nothing to be done about it but I got the guys to stand down. Half of them shaking from excitement the other from fear. Standing there like a bunch of actors hired to play Xenos crew.

Got back safe. That's what matters. Need to figure out it if I can report those uniforms to headquarters somehow. I don't mind Xenos and I don't like Interspace neither. But I'm not going to dress like that. Wonder if any of them know what Xenos even do.
