Now that you all are in attendance, your first assignment is imminent. In two hours' time, the logistic vessel Giulia will depart from Malta with a sample of Cardamine, bound for Trafalgar. We have a middleman who is interested in setting up a deal, and he wants a sample of our product before committing to any sort of contract.
Rumors have it that the Taus have been quiet as of recent, but be on your guard. It is not uncommon for the Bretonians or Kusarians to launch heavier sorties into Tau space. Stay vigilant, and make sure the transport makes it to Trafalgar alive. I expect a report upon completion of the mission.

A successful first shipment to Bretonia. Not only were the Cardamine and Gold delivered intact, but we also secured a Stork full of Niobium as a cherry on top. I had the chance to meet a few of you for the first time - interesting backgrounds all around. Damn, it felt incredible to be back in a cockpit again. Playing it safe and sticking to the jumphole-only route paid off: Tau-29 into 31, then Edinburgh, then Leeds, just like we always did.
I didn’t realize how much I’d missed it after four years of inactivity, but now I can’t wait to head back up. For now, it’s time to rest on Malta - my back issues are flaring up again after sitting for so long. Thank you for the company, Famiglia.

Segnora Alba Vecellio,
Our mission in Tau-23 proved to be successful, we encountered a BMM vessel who lead us directly to their seemingly newly built installation and a large force of Bretonian vessels, who did not hesitate to engage us on sight. They were resilient but their efforts were futile against the Famiglias finest, while we were dealing with the Bretonians the miners guild appears with a large squadron. They know how to dogfight in the field, however much like the Bretonians they met a swift end. Segnora what concerns me is, Nomad vessels appeared out of nowhere and engaged us unprovoked, I don't recall us provoking them in recent events. After a long fought battle we emerged victorious and are currently heading home. I will relay the necessary names and information of the vessels we encountered. Segnora Maria will more than likely provide video evidence of our visit as well, Ci vediamo tra un po'!

Subject: Debrief and Next Steps
Soldatos,
I wanted to let all of you know how much I appreciate the work you did in Tau 23 today. We faced multiple determined enemies, and you answered the call without knowing what was coming. Both the IMG and BMM suffered severe casualties at the hands of our sabres. This will allow our Cardamine pipelines into Bretonia and Kusari to be solidified. However, this is only one victory. We will enjoy many more to come.
As for the Nomads today, I will be writing a report to Malta to address the unprovoked nature of the attack. For now, should you see any nomad ships, maintain distance, and do not provoke them unnecessarily. Should that prerogative change, we will let you know. Hopefully, this was just a "wrong place, wrong time" scenario.
Soldatos di Medici, di Cardi, Iaquinta, and Alesci, you will now be referred to as Caporegimes. Your courage, tenacity, and coolness under pressure assured us victory today. But, the job is not done. Now is the time to up the pressure. Make sure that anyone who gets in the way of our operations feels the wrath of our weapons.
For now, you all have earned some much needed rest. I will call upon you when the time comes.

Famiglia,
Thank you all for answering the call in Tau-37. Although the battle wasn't won, our overall mission was successful, and our supply lines into the deeper Taus remain unsevered. Make whatever repairs are needed to your ships, and get some well-earned rest.
Soldatos Zeni, Acerbo, and Cabanas, you all showed outstanding discipline and poise in a dire situation today. For that, I thank you personally, and recognize that you all are fit to wear the rank of Caporegime.
In the end, victory isn't achieved without some defeats along the way. Let's regroup, rearm, and seek those that sought to destroy us.
