Good day esteemed constables,

My name is Mark Harris, and I am the Director of the Security Wing at Bretonian Mining and Fabrication.

Our Security Wing officers have recently come into possession of some rather intriguing goods, which, I believe, would more appropriately fall within your realm of expertise than ours. During an escort mission, they encountered certain unsavory individuals hailing from Cambridge—two notorious troublemakers known as "Bort_Sneed" and "Makaan"—who were found in possession of cargo that can decidedly be described as noteworthy. Following their apprehension, our officers successfully seized approximately 2,755 units of "Volgograd Ordinance," securely housed within the cargo bay of our vessel, the "Isle of Skye".

In conjunction with this contraband, they were also escorting a VIP, currently receiving medical attention in our hospital wing. At the time of his rescue, he was notably malnourished and unconscious; however, his condition has since stabilized, though he has yet to regain consciousness. But we will deal with this situation to the best of our abilities.

Furthermore, we have also acquired 2,836 units of "Wildcat Gold" from a zoner smuggler known as "PJ-888." This consignment has undergone review by our esteemed crew aboard "Fortitudine," yet, as of this correspondence, it remains stored in the same secure location as the aforementioned cargo.

In light of the present predicament in which we find ourselves, I would like to enquire whether you might be inclined to relieve us of these items and manage their disposal in accordance with your organization's protocols. We are at a loss regarding the appropriate course of action and wish to avoid compromising our operations with substandard gold of this nature.

Director Harris Thanks for getting in touch, we're much obliged for the good work you lads are putting in. I'm Sergeant Howard, I've been assigned as a direct liaison with your company to smooth out any friction to cooperation. We can certainly take the Volgograd off your hands and get it sent over to the lockup on Sprague for analysis. Always good to know what the Reds are up to, and whether they've got any new tricks the poor sods on the roadblocks should know about. As for the 'Cat, we've found there generally ain't much evidentiary value to it. Typically, it's bog-standard Gold that's simply missing your authorised radiostamps. Sometimes we can pry a little detail out of who was probably responsible for mining it by looking at impurities that have been accidentally mixed in during smelting, but we'd normally be calling on your expertise for that kind of analysis anyway. Honestly, I'd suggest melting it down and mixing it into one of your batches until it's dilute enough that the market's none the wiser. Sell it off for jeweller's tat if you don't think it's up to grade. No reason the Bretonian economy should suffer just 'cos the Mollys got their stink on it first, aye? We'll keep an eye out for those names you've provided too, but where there ain't much by way of evidence or detail pinning em to a crime, it'll be a watch and see situation.
