Greetings, Mr. Anderson,

I am sending you the proof of our recent food and supply deliveries to Corfu, sourced from both Kadesh and Gran Carina. A small portion (less than 10%) came from Kadesh to offload surplus supplies, but we will soon rely on the nearby MFE base as our primary food supplier. Since the colony is relatively small, these two supply lines should suffice.

However, there are a few points of concern I wish to raise. Although the settlements I visited appear stable, they are not in as good a condition as I would like. Our supply lines ought to be capable of sustaining every unaffiliated Zoner and our primary settlement. This leads me to suspect that something—or someone—is diverting food for their own benefit.

Could Corsair cells be operating behind the scenes to undermine morale and incite civil strife? Or perhaps the rotund pontiff and his soup-taker are consuming more than their fair share, leaving the broader population neglected? If the NCC has not logged regular food transports, we may be dealing with a deeper issue.

To assist you in resolving this matter, I have transferred our latest group of trained marines to Corfu. They are currently dressed in civilian attire to avoid attracting unwanted attention.

Please let me know if I can provide any further support.

With resolve and determination,

Jonathan Cayran, out.

Mr. Cayran,

The Phoenix trade fleet is doing an excellent job of supplying all of the colony's needs and the number of our ships here fulfill a primary role. But despite the proximity of the MFE base and supplies from Kadesh or Gran Canaria we must focus on diversification and delegation of supplies, even though we are well supplied, I must say.

Due to the Vega project, as you may have already heard, we have developed quite... dense and mutually beneficial cooperation with many groups within Rheinland. I think you should take the focus on securing additional contracts with their corporations. Despite the risk, they're happy to help, just as Weiss is already working for the good of the colony.

Don't get me wrong, but the clouds are gathering, the conflict denses in the air, and we'll need to increase our trade flow inside the deep Omicrons to make sure operations run smoothly, but at the same time we need to keep the colony supplied, that’s why delegation especially in a hand. Food, basic necessities are good. But we're not living in the Stone Age, we need the full range of goods from the core worlds, even heavy machinery, given the extremely hostile environment on the Pygar.

As for the local colonies, the situation is stable and remains calm. Although little is known about NCC colony status - they are under pontiff’s direct control and we do not interfere much into their business. Although their public voice in support of Voncloud causes questions within all the other colonies under administration control. It seems NCC cooperated on special terms with Mr. Voncloud and apparently they are still working according to the old methods. The anti-corruption department will check it all out. Despite all the work to sabotage Phoenix's submission to Pygar Mr. Voncloud has not been able to effectively influence the local population with his propaganda, as Zoners are mostly extremely skeptical about a treaty with Corsairs as a knight on a white horse, or a choice of lesser evils.

Despite the small layer of radicalization to our administration that greeted me upon arrival, it actually turned out that many residents took heart when we returned from Great Voyage and Phoenix took charge of Pygar, even despite the actual presence of Voncloud. Many remember the old days, even before we left Sirius, we had been in charge of Freeport 9 and Corfu station for a decade and during the tense times when the Corsairs started to threaten us we were able to band together and take the initiative to defend over Freeport 9 upon Corsair agression. Of course, the Gas Miners Guild then provided us with invaluable support in suppressing the enemy - but our men also fought like lions. Drawing a time parallel and all the trust they still give us, they are ready to unite, just like in the old days united under our banner - Phoenix.
