I hope that everything goes well in Crete, and that you're in good health.
As I told you when you introduced yourself to the signatories of the Treaty, after you took office, we would stay in touch. Well, I'm afraid that time has come, though I wish it were for a more trivial reason.
You may not be aware, but I've received some reports that there are some food shortages on Pygar. Shipments seem to be continuing as usual from the signatories of the Treaty, and as far as I know Phoenix is also sending transports loaded with Synth Paste to Corfu, to be distributed to the colonies on the planet. However, I've been informed that the local distribution centers of some settlements are not being able to supply sufficient quantities of food to properly feed their inhabitants. Synth Paste packages that should reach their destinations from Corfu, are either not doing so, or are disappearing in some way that we don't know
For example, shipments of Synth Paste produced by the Theta General Academy are among the most affected. These aid packages are marked with the MFE caduceus, making them easily recognizable, but the local distribution centers don't have them and therefore are not reaching the civilians. They're simply not there.
Obviously, I've brought this to the attention of MFE, and Director Xi of the Academy has decided to take action. From now on, the NCC will be in charge of the planet distribution of the food aid provided by MFE, centralizing the storage in our colony Faith Haven, and then transporting the Synth Paste packages to other settlements by freighters. In this way, at least we'll ensure that they reach their destination in the local distribution centers.
At the moment, the Academy doesn't have freighters to descend to the planet and deliver the cargo to us, so they plan to acquire one. Until then, they will continue to send the food to Corfu, and our freighters will go to pick it up there to bring it to Faith Haven, but obviously that will slow down the delivery process. And this is where you come in, Executor.
I was wondering if you could provide us with a freighter and pilot who can perform the routine task of transporting aid packages from the Academy warehouses to our hangars in Faith Haven, so that when they arrive, we can quickly proceed to deliver them. Of course this will only be temporary, while Director Xi manages to carry out the acquisition of the freighter for the Academy. Once that is done, we'll have no need to bother you any further on this matter.

It is always a please to hear from our amigos of the Church. I am not surprised that the new administrator seems to be unable to distribute the incoming goods on Pygar appropriately. Since he took over, Phoenix seems to have lost sight of what truly matters; supporting the people on Pygar and ensuring their wellbeing. Instead they are focusing on initiating and preparing for an open war with our Imperio. I am sure some of their “more privileged” members feel entitled to take more than a fair share of the supplies shipped to Pygar on the back of the common population. Should we have any concrete information about what is going on there, I will inform you promptly.
This topic aside, I appreciate your step to take matters into your own hands and supply your colony without relying on the capabilities of the new Pygar Administration. We certainly can spare one of our Correo-class freighters to help you out temporarily with the deliveries to the colony. I already sent out a vessel that will be to your assistance shortly.

Thank you very much for your understanding and support. It's a relief to know that we can count on you in good times and bad. We're not really the intended recipients of this MFE Synth Paste shipments, as Faith Haven is currently almost self-sustaining, but your help will be invaluable in expediting the transfer of the aid packages to our colony, and from there to other settlements which need them much more than we do.
I really hope that the redirection of the MFE supply chain will be enough to solve this problem. Nevertheless, the NCC is already investigating in depth the disappearance of these food shipments with the means at our disposal, we don't want to make assumptions until we have proof. Director Xi has assured me that she will also launch an investigation of her own, so perhaps together we can find out what's going on. If that happens we'll also keep you and the other members of the Treaty informed.
