Message follows:
Guten Tag, herr Direktor. I hope this message finds you well. Let me introduce myself, I am Professor Baldur Ohlendor, currently of the New Berlin University of Physical Sciences, however I previously served in The Buro as Generaloberinspektor, under Direktor Enfield. This was sometime ago, before the civil war, which I unfortunately was not able to help in, being under medical discharge after a wing of Hessians disabled my U-boat rather catastrophically. Broken ribs, internal bleeding, a punctured lung, it was quite the laundry list of injuries. This rendered me out of action for the duration of the war, and it was only afterwards that I was finally taken out of the medical coma.
Since then, I have returned to my academics, and even recently completed a semester teaching a the Cambridge Polytechnic of Chemical Engineering, as they also offered access to the excellent physical therapy department of their sister polytechnic, the Cambridge Polytechnic of Biomechanical Engineering, which has greatly helped my recovery. As such, now that I have returned home, sound of mind and body, I am once again feeling the call the continue to serve my house. I am under no illusions that The Büro will have changed while I was away, and that there is much I would need to be caught up on, I do wish to once again stand between the people of Rheinland, and those that would wish them harm.
