We were expecting the Arkhangelsk and your ambassador to discuss supplies and further cooperation on defense when we encountered multiple skirmishes.
Even though the Arkhangelsk was on a diplomatic mission, it inevitably got caught in the crossfire.
I want to thank you for the Arkhangelsk’s intervention in Delta yesterday. Its invaluable support helped us first neutralize a Nomad battleship, then fend off a second Corsair incursion with minimal casualties.
True to form, they couldn’t resist their bloodlust and opened fire on your vessel near our Freeport, forcing the Arkhangelsk to defend itself.
As always, they show no respect for civilian safety. That said, watching their arrogant cruiser go up in flames was certainly satisfying for many onlookers at freeport 11.
It seems the Deterrence is determined to keep the Coalition out of the system and any negotiations between us.
Once the battle was over, we managed to discuss our agreements, coordinate tactics, and address other matters. Consequently, I’ve made special arrangements with Freeport 11’s administrator, Mr. Silva, to reserve a docking bay for your forces. However, please note that this is strictly for defensive purposes—do not launch any assaults on the Core base in Delta from Freeport 11. I strongly recommend avoiding them whenever possible and concentrating on Corsair and Nomad threats.
Additionally, I will arrange an Iridium supply shipment to Aralsk Research Station this week as a further gesture of thanks.
TO: Phoenix, Jonathan Cayran FROM: Colonel Vadim Biryukov RE: Conflict in Omicron Delta ENCRYPTION:HIGH
Dobrie vecher, Jonathan Cayran!
We have reviewed the data from the crew of the ship SCRA|CPW-Arkhangelsk. We believe it was highly inappropriate of the Corsairs to attack our ship near Freeport 11, but thankfully no civilians were injured. Regarding a possible attack by Core forces using Freeport 11. HC does not see the need and sense in it, as our task is to protect the citizens and not to provoke them as the Corsairs do. We do not intend to carry out military operations using your station.
Also our representative passed us the results of your discussions and our team's comments on coordination, further development of our legal relations and economic supplies. We are also now forming a team with additional protection to ensure that the cargo reaches its destination without problems. At this time, the Coalition is very encouraged by the recent victories of our soldiers and we want to assure you that with our support the threats will pass over your people.
