Description

Bristol Constructions, partner corporations, and independent contractors are preparing a convoy of Deuterium to be moved into the Sigmas as Cleveland Station stands full. The convoy will move to Gas Miner Ogashawa, Sigma 19, offload the cargo and pick up a large shipment of H-Fuel for transfer at Harrisburg Station in Pennsylvania.

The Bristol convoy will start to fill up ships with Deuterium at Cleveland Station on Saturday, 31 May, 2000 UTC.
Departure to Sigma-19 will commence at approximately 2030 UTC.

Attention! - The route goes through Kusari and the Sigmas - Keep your reputation in mind.

Rules

Event-Lite: Essentially just planning a date and time with a rather basic premise. There is no sign up or any special rules. I'll merely give you an opportunity and some suggestions. You can come by to chat, spy, fight. The main mechanical goal for this is to try and empty Cleveland Station as much as physically possible. Nothing set in stone or preplanned.

Suggested Participants

There’s no signup required for participation, but here are a few InRP reasons for ships to appear and organize around that’d make some nice, honest sense.

If you have a Bristol ship, please log that before anything else
Payment for transports will be personal profits generated from the run (800,000 cr for 4,300 transport)
Payment for escorts will be 100,000 cr

• Freelancers - Join in with your transport vessels or escorts

Payment for transports will be 80,000 cr, along with profit generated from the run (approximately 670,000 cr for 3,600 transport)
Payment for escorts will be 100,000 cr

• BHG - Join in with your escorts

Payment for participation will be 100,000 cr

• Corporations - Join in with your transports

Payment for transports will be personal profits generated from the run (930,000 cr for 5,000 transport)

• Criminals - Big target, maybe a big reward. Come on, try and get some credits or cargo, and shoot at escorts and lawfuls while you’re at it

Payment is whatever you can get away with! Some good RP can be got, too, and I’ll throw 50,000 to anyone who appears and gives a good show on it.

• Lawfuls - A convoy is coming through and it might be assaulted. Use that.

If you have any other creative ideas on who to show up that’s aimed at good, honest interaction, feel free to run that as well.

Just wanted to give this a bump for attention's sake, and announce that the Gaelic Wyvern Inn shall be catering members of the convoy; haulers, escorts and scouts, alike!

If you're new to RP, this is a fantastic chance to observe a few different styles and draw inspiration for your own play!

If you're feeling bold, form a posse with a friend or few, and snag us at a lane or gate along our route! This is a nice chance for unlawfuls to get some RP (and loot!) out of your fellow community members! (Also its more interesting for story telling, plz gimme more footage for story-weaviing~!)

Four hours until the convoy!

Bear in mind there will be around 30 minutes for loading and me jotting down all participants for their pay, so if you get there a little late that's fine. For anyone worried about lack of other participants from thread activity, a lot of coordination has gone over Discord and there's been recruitment to it in game as well. At the moment, looking to be around half a dozen or so and we're more than happy to see more ships involved.

Bravo to all participants from the convoy itself to the pirates and unlawfuls who showed face! Special mention goes to “Santa.Venera”, BHG GB who talked down DTR while my other escorts wanted to jump in and possibly get shooting not once but twice. Thanks to XA-Cobra, TFP, DTR, and the good number of pirates who tried to make things REAL interesting in Galileo. Sorry you couldn't join in, Barrier, the internet pixies said no. Honestly was amazed by so many who appeared.

Will possibly start doing this as a periodic event because it was really quite fun. And again, thanks all.
