Great. Neighbors. You would think being this far out in the space sticks would allow for some peace and quiet. [Leo clears his throat] Salutations and greetings, Starfliers. Welcome to Tau-23. This is Dr. Leo Morningstar, one of the last of SLRC (yes, we are still active, though in greatly reduced numbers) and now of the Ikarus Cooperative, a loose council of Zoners dedicated to the study of strange and unusual mysteries. As you might well know, Ikarus Station is an observatory and early warning system for the nearby Anomaly should...things start coming out of it or worse. Should Ikarus raise the alarm about it's activity flaring, ensure you pay heed. The anomaly regularly spins off mostly innocuous copies of itself that on occasion interfere with docking systems and have a propensity to intersect bulkheads. Other than being a general nuisance, they're mostly harmless. Should you need anything from Ikarus, please feel free to reach out and we'll do our best to help. Oh, and if you want a bit of trivia, reorganize Ikarus into another word, you might be fascinated to know that while Icarus is spelled different, Ikarus has a double meaning. This is coming to you, Mr. Halpert but feel free to pass route this to your boss if you don't want to deal with it. From our previous discussion as well as prior ones in the past, no doubt you don't want to deal with it. To be frank, I don't blame you.

We recently sent a communication to the Core but so far have gotten back crickets and we're sort of hoping that your team next door could spare a cup'a Xeno Relics for a project we have ongoing. If not, possibly a means to obtain them? For now we just need 2,500 for construction of a facility on Ikarus but may need more soon in the future. Our dockmaster has clearance to buy them for $290SC per SCU but we're willing to increase that as a means of incitement.

Reason we're asking you to help instead of getting them ourselves is...well, because of our restructuring, we've cut a lot of fat off of our operations and one of those cuts was cutting into our transportation fleet...extensively. As such, we lack the means to get them easily. Even if we use smaller vessels through Alpha, we run into Outcasts wanting to use us for target practice (they don't like relics), Kusari is already on edge with Liberty, Bretonia has itchy trigger fingers as far as Zoners are concerned, and the Corsairs...well...all I have to say about them is "Freeport 9".

Hoping you're able to lend a hand while we get back up on our feet after nearly going belly up.
