4. Why is this request necessary for the continuation of this character's roleplay?:
Leviathan has been actively working to expand his retinue of familiar technology, and the Halcyon is the latest addition to his collection. The ship is intended to serve as a mobile command station, and falls in-line with his long-standing history as a Legion veteran. This request furthers that goal and allows the character to shift focus to the next project in line.
The Halcyon is the natural stage of evolution in the character's development and re-establishment of his footprint within and beyond the Technocracy. It's another step in bolstering Leviathan's personal retinue, and will serve as a platform in which he can coordinate network building with contacts in other groups relevant to his ideas for the future of his people.
5. What short-term and long-term goals are you planning to achieve on this character?:
The short-term:
- The Halcyon being brought up to operational status and utilized as a mobile operations center for Leviathan's activities and off-the-books operations.
- Studying, documenting and further modifying the old cruiser's capabilities as it sees active duty testing.
- Further developing the Halcyon's internal identity, as Leviathan aims to turn part of the vessel into a mobile workshop for his own needs.
The long-term:
- The Halcyon is slated to be part of an upcoming project, and serves as an initial proof of concept that'll unfold over the months of its operation. Like other assets that Leviathan had acquired (Achlys) the Halcyon will be pushed beyond its limitations and continuously adapted to the high standards of the Technocracy.
