I know you told me to enjoy my vacation. But, as you know, I just can't help it.
As you requested I left my Phoenix communicator on Kadesh, so I'm writing to you now from my personal account.
I just heard that engineers from a militant zoner group are working on a modified Fearless at the Livadia Shipyard for snub and gunboat defense. I've looked into the project, and it's almost finished. The only thing the engineers have been missing so far is a multipurpose weapon for the modified cruiser.
How life and coincidence play out! To relieve some vacation stress, I treated myself to a few drinks on Freeport 11. There, I met a charming, extremely discreet lady named Patimat.
I'm a gentleman who enjoys and keeps quiet, so I'll keep it short. The lady in question works as a procurement assistant for a weapons manufacturer in Omega-48. She will be supplying an impressive, versatile weapon called the Crimson Blaster for the cruiser project.
The new cruiser, the ZCV-Bululu, will be tested by militant units. I have signed up and qualified as a test pilot. In return, I will receive the production-ready prototype at the end of the tests. If you wish, it can then be transferred to our fleet.
P.S.: Let's keep this between us until I'm back to Kadesh. I don't want Karen to get upset that I'm not using my vacation to relax.

I’m half-tempted tae pass yer ‘holiday antics’ along tae Karen, just tae watch true chaos unfold. But we’ve weightier matters at hand.
A crimson blaster, ye say?
If memory serves, a few o’ our cruisers sport that very cannon. She’s nae perfect in the accuracy department, but the sheer wallop she delivers more than makes up for it.
If ye manage tae lay hands on one, feel free tae use it as ye see fit, ye’ve earned that much. Still, such a prize is bound tae draw unwanted eyes, so I’ll dispatch an escort: the (\^/)Psyche’ll rendezvous wi’ ye as soon as she’s able.
I appreciate your understanding and sense of humor. After a few pints of Guinness at the bar of the Arranmore Base in Dublin, it's much easier for me to understand it.
Events have been happening quickly. Other potential buyers were also interested in the Crimson Blaster, so I had to set off immediately with the prototype cruiser without any escort.
But be sure, everything went well. We only were halted by a swarm of Order snubs, who let us pass after a quick check for alien artifacts.
The weapons manufacturer's team took some time to assemble the turret. They welded and tinkered to their hearts' content. What doesn't fit it has been made to fit.
On the way back, we briefly tried out the new weapon when we encountered an insignificant swarm of Corsair snubs. A picture is worth a thousand words. The weapon's effect was devastating.
The prototype is now at the Livadia Shipyard. Militant Zoner units will test it intensively in the coming weeks in different regions of the Omicrons.
I'll be back from vacation in two weeks and will contact you via the Phoenix network.
Please give Karen a huge hug from me too.

- Weapon producer: - Your cannon is ready
- Bululuman: Is it possible to pick it at Rock base?
- Weapon producer: You can, if you go there now, otherwise they might buy it))
- Bululuman: Come on, I'm flying.
