My name is Aurelio de Cruz — I believe we have not had the pleasure. I command the mighty Consul vessel Oso, flying proudly under the banner of the Corsair Imperio.
Señorita Lopez informed the ranks of the DTR about your bounty regarding MV-Tunja, and I acted swiftly.
With fury in my veins, I read your report and the contract on the vessel known as MV-Tunja. Are the tales of demanding firstborns true? As a father of dos niños pequeños, I took this mission personally.
After rallying my crew on Crete, we set course for Omicron Delta. Intelligence had suggested sightings of MV-Tunja in that sector. The hunt was long, until we intercepted an ALG Barge — heavy with cargo. Tempting, yes, but our task came first. We offered its survival in exchange for information.
Soon after, two more vessels joined our encounter: a Corsair cruiser named La.Silencia and a BDM freighter called LV-Hrimfaxi.
Interrogation was underway when MV-Tunja made itself known — suddenly and cryptically, likely via cloaking technology. Upon approach, the vessel opened fire, foolishly believing it could withstand two Corsair warships. To our amusement, LV-Hrimfaxi sided with Tunja. Both were obliterated. Contract fulfilled.
The ALG Barge made a half-hearted attempt to support the doomed pair, but stood down once they fell. Ordinarily, such actions would invite retribution — but with a Bounty Hunter vessel and two ships of The Order entering the fray, the system became too volatile.
I chose to withdraw. The mission was complete.
Señor Hillybilly, I am pleased to confirm the elimination of the target. Proof is attached. I look forward to future cooperation.
