Given some recent developments, we have decided to explicitly restate the following in our server rules:
1.1.4 - Threatening players with sanctions/reports and impersonating staff is not permitted.
While we encourage players to reach out to involved players in a rule violation in good faith efforts to resolve situations amicably before resorting to submitting violation reports, sometimes it will just not be possible. Nothing lost in game is real and everything (except time) can be restored. There is no need to get angry. Threats to file violation reports, especially in the context of trying to extort some sort of outcome, will only make things worse and will not be tolerated. Pretending to be a member of staff for any reason will also not be tolerated.
This policy has always been and will continue to be in force, but had been absorbed into 1.0 at some point.

It was rolled into 1.0 at some point due to our assumption that it was pretty obvious - but related issues have surfaced lately that has led us to believe it might be beneficial to just explicitly state just to ensure everyone is on the same page.
Honestly, there should be far more explicit rules rather than implicit norms. A lot of newbies don't even know shit unless it's explicitly spelled out and that needs to be taken into account.
