Esteemed representatives of The Order Overwatch,

I don't recall any prior official communications having taken place between our organizations. I am Vice Admiral Maria Uhmen of the Liberty Navy's Forty-sixth Fleet, first-in-command of Task Force Akhetaten and commanding officer of LNS Akhetaten. As you may have heard by now from the forces you deployed in escort of the battleship CV Atum, a contingent of Task Force Akhetaten was deployed in order to aid the convoy, spearheaded by myself aboard LNS Akhetaten.

I need not inform you of what Liberty's official stance is towards the Order, as I am certain you are duly aware of it. However, Task Force Akhetaten is a category of its own, so to speak. Please allow me to elaborate further.

Disgusted and revolted by the Government's stance - or lack there-of, perhaps - towards the alien threat and the worrying situation in Ontario and Coronado, a few months ago I requested operational independency and unique rules of engagement for LNS Akhetaten and Task Force Akhetaten in its entirety. The Government approved of my request and we have ever since expanded our operational zone. Not long after this, I contacted Crayter Republic and requested the services of Sabah Shipyard in order to receive the necessary repairs and resupplies during the task force's deployment into the Coronado, Ontario and Inverness systems. Crayter Republic's Fleet Admiral Garan is also included in this transmission, for sake of transparency.

Naturally, I could not possibly justify the usage of a whole task force in such a cause, and I thus decided that it would be a resourceful idea to split Task Force Akhetaten into two separate task groups.

Task Group Akhetaten One would be spearheaded by the Akhetaten and consist of lighter assets, excelling in hit-and-run tactics, reconnaissance, intelligence as well as surgical strikes against enemies of humanity, making full use of the extended operational rights bestowed upon us by the Government.

Task Group Akhetaten Two would contain the task force's heaviest assets and remain within Liberty's borders, maintaining a stronghold over our space and conducting regular Liberty Navy duties.

With this lengthy explanation of our function out of the way, it's time to once again get back to the subject at hand now that we are all on the same page.

Ever since learning about the Order's plan to relocate the Atum into Coronado, I immediately knew that this would spur a sizeable alien response. With Task Group Akhetaten One deployed at Sabah Shipyard, I dispatched several of our forces to the convoy and to Atum's defense. After all, while we have had no prior contact with The Order Overwatch, Task Force Akhetaten has had a long-standing positive relationship with Section Eight, and considering how our stance towards the Order was generally always at the very least neutral, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to bolster our relations in a more official manner.

I do not wish to give off the wrong idea, so let me make a few things clear.

My willingness to coordinate with the Order is not to be taken for granted. While Task Force Akhetaten has been granted operational independency, when our assets are found within Liberty's Sovereign Space we are still bound by the Laws of the Republic that we must uphold. And, unfortunately, as long as the Government refers to you as terrorists, there is little we can do within the systems that the Government has full jurisdiction in. Our assistance in your operation to retrieve the Atum, as well as this transmission, are not an attempt at overriding the Government's established diplomacy.

That being said, Task Force Akhetaten identifies the Order - not just Overwatch, but all sub-cells as well - as valuable allies to humanity against the ever-increasing alien threat.

With our standing influence over the aforementioned region, we are glad to know that we will finally be getting some meaningful help from the Order in our endeavor.

What does your agenda include now that the Atum is at Sabah? How will the Order proceed from here?
