I do believe we have the winning bid behind your liner auction, for the sum of eighty million credits.
Whilst this is the boldest move I've ever made, it seems all paperwork is indeed in line with my affiliation, so really the only thing we need is the access codes and, well. Instruction on how to fly this fine ship!
Tuition on how to pilot this fine craft is rather essential, but would also like a shake down of the ship's features and capabilities.
May I know the exact account we are to wire funds to please? for the auction amount?
Albert McKenzie, Starfliers To: Contractor Subject: Sale of the Sol
Hello, Contractor.
Indeed. The private sale has enabled a lot of freedom for us. The Sol was designed to be a stationary vessel, acting as an observation platform. With it's modular components, it can be packed up and moved. It's last voyage took it from Inverness out to Tau-23. Where it travels to from there is now your decision.
The brief on the vessel is a simple one. The ship itself is feature packed with bespoke research facilities and hardware. It did have a custom built hydroponics and shielding system, however these were disabled and removed before the sale. You will notice that there is a missing section within the vessel. This contained our data servers, of which you may now fill the space with whatever you like.
Funds should be directed to '\S/'Adhara. Enjoy the Sol.
Funds have no doubt met your account as they were sent over immediately.
Whilst this ship will never be quite the same as when in in your possession, we hope to remain the same neutrality as yourselves whilst providing a stable platform for research, our own and guests.
The on board systems seem to be exactly what I've been used to in the past as far as functionality goes.
I have sourced the materials to produce a number of Leatherbacks so far, which are open on sale. We don't believe we have dropped in quality one bit, but perhaps you can be the judge?
What we would like most of all, is guidance, lessons if you will on how to pilot the liner itself? We have no experience and should the worst come to worst, we'd like to be able to fly out of there!
Albert McKenzie, Starfliers To: Contractor Subject: Lessons
Hello, Contractor.
Funds have been received. We will be purchasing the "Oasis"-Class Liner from The Renzu Company as a replacement. The lighter vessel will suite our needs moving forward from the sale.
We are ill equipped to provide flight lessons, especially since our speciality is in smaller crafts. The Renzu Company has advertised that they provide lessons, I would refer you to the team in Shikoku and see if they can assist with this.
We fully understand your position on lessons, we shall make contact with other entities in order to best facilitate our learning requirements.
The blueprints for the Vector appear to be open to all, so I assume you don't mind we have naturally began selling these for many millions less than any competition.
The reduction in cost is simple; your blueprints are for everyone to see. The shipyard aboard this fine vessel although considerably smaller than any other shipyard, already had all the jig's set up perfect to create them, which we thank you for.
Please do stop by any time or reach out to us on here any time you or your team needs repairs of any kind. We will help without question.
