Konnichiwa.

This is Shinoda Goro speaking, assigned commander of "Naginata" squadron and captain of KIS-Naginata "Komainu"-class battlecruiser.

For the last week we were deployed in Kyushu system, operating from Nansei Research Complex. In the span of said week, we have encountered multiple unwanted visitors. This includes LSF agents, Blood Dragons and a pirate group that tries to conseal themselves as Zoners. To speak about one at a time and in details:

• LSF agents - snubcraft in lesser quantities, mostly "Defiant"-class gunboats, as well as transport ships and "Longhorn"-class heavy frigates. The latter - delivering weapons of Libertonian origin into Seiran Dust Cloud, while snubcraft and gunboats are preparing and executing raids over Kyushu and Shikoku systems.
  
• Pirates - that is how they are considered now, hence from their attacks on Samura vessels with intent of piracy and destruction. Transponders bearing [EX] markings and Zoner signatures. Group mostly consists of "Longhorn"-class frigates, rarely - "Conference"-class gunboats. They are also providing armaments into Seiran and moving Optronics from there back to Liberty. The group is protected by LSF assets and local Blood Dragons raiders.
  
• Blood Dragons - local raiders have risen in their activity, consisting of snubcraft with a single sighting of "Togo"-class battlecruiser and of "Hachiman"-class gunboat. Mostly protecting LSF and [EX] assets with occasional attacks on Samura convoys.

An assumption was made, that dishonorable Libertonians are supplying local terrorist groups to destabilise our State. The [EX] group most likely was hired by them to multiply their efforts and keep Liberty's influence in shadows, yet Liberty Security Force failed at being undercover, deploying their heavy assets unhidden.

Capturing any of the hostile pilots or captains proved impossible due to their immidiate violent reaction to KOI ships.

Naginata squadron's status is optimal, we are continuing our work. Additional intelligence will be delivered as soon as it is recieved and by now - the hunt proceeds. The available scanning data is attached

We were already anticipating such troubling news. Luckily, the Hitokappu Listening Post already paid off as an early warning system, which is why you were assigned to this area in the first place.

The Blood Dragons represent themselves as nothing but opportunists who have long forgotten their alleged ideals. Nothing hides in the Seiran Cloud but them and our fanatical Malta worshippers, rendering it incredibly clear whom Liberty decided to suddenly support. Their lack of decency to outright forego handling these hostile acts undercover is nothing less than an insult of the highest degree. However, to our advantage it also paints a crystal clear picture of the Republic's "values" and foolishness.

Your datasets are of incredible value and have already crossed the desks of his Imperial Shogun and our Imperial Prime Minister. Our next steps are straightforward:

• The KOI and especially the Naginata Squadron are to ramp up activities at our southern border and receive immediate green light for undercover tasks within Colorado proper, so long as a decent level of plausible deniability is ensured. Do not seek cooperation with local Libertorian criminals.
  
  
• We urge you to contact your brethren in arms and send any similar evidence of Liberty's transgressions and cooperation with hostile elements to us. We will bring this case to the attention of the other great Houses as yet another piece of in our political ambitions to showcase that this whole conflict stems from Liberty's aggressions and not ours.
  
  
• The rise of a potential organized pirate group with deep ties to the Republic reminds us of the Bretonian Privateers. They must be vanquished before they ever reach such a point of existence. We'll handle this through incentives for mercenaries and bounty hunters far outside of our borders and within.
