Well, it looks like I may have gotten a little careless with those stock tickers. I was set to make a run of trade lane and jump gate parts out to Gallia but, before I headed on out, I met a freelancer that went by Olivia Sable. She was just hanging around home. Thinking it will be a bumpy ride through Kusari space, I thought an extra set of guns would be helpful. Well, she set me straight. My haul would have ended us both in a Gallic prison and the Seattle impounded. I know Mr. Wagner has had some sway in times past with the Gallic folk but I'm not so sure he could have gotten me out of that one. I called dispatch and they re-routed me out to Omega-3.

Well, any sorts, that was about the most exciting thing of the trip. I paid her out of my freelancer account. Even though we didn't run into any trouble, it was nice to have somebody besides my XO and bridge staff to chat with. There's only so much that can be discussed between the same people. Let the record show that Olivia Sable is a trusted freelancer and, frankly, a nice conversationalist. Not like those gas miners I ran into out in the Sigmas. Hard doing business with that lot.

It looks like the band is back together. At least that's the memo that came down from the President and Vice President. I ran the Seattle, along with the Nashville and Dallas, from Coronado into the Sigmas. Apparently there's been some fuel shortages in some cities on Yuma. That's why we are here! But first we needed some copper to make the run worth while.

The run was really smooth, thanks to the patrols of Liberty and Rheinland navies. Those silly pirates like to try and shoot up those stations but I've never seen them get anywhere. Such needless loss of life.

We reached our destination but received a notice about a confidential shipment to the Omicron REDACTED system. Not sure why they need REDACTED at REDACTED but hey, I like the extra hazard pay anyway. The trip was also pretty unremarkable. We ran into some Corsair raiding parties in Bretonia but we passed through pretty easily. We had an interesting chase, or at least we thought it was a chase... frankly, we don't know, but some Deterrence Corsair was on our tail for part of the trip. We shook him off or he wasn't even after us and went along his way. Not sure, but we are happy to camp out here for a bit to let any heat cool down. We grabbed some grub which, just like the trip, was fairly unremarkable. Drinks were good. But I mean, drinks are always good.

Until next time!

Well, we received our orders. It sounds like the big boss man, our new president Mr. Wagner, is not joking around with getting this outfit whipped back into shape. Our orders were to retrieve a load of High Temperature Alloys out of the Sigmas to haul back to Baltimore for our fleet construction. Thanks to our procurement team, however, we were able to secure a haul of pharmaceuticals from Denver to make the trip worth our while.

No freelancers were in the area for hire and, frankly, that was a good thing to save Universal's bank. We didn't need them... route was about as cold as they come. Which is fine. That means I'll get to enjoy a warm steak with my Liberty Ale over at Newark tonight with some friends instead of being on ice in some drifter's cargo hold.

See the attached!

I have hauled 5,000 crates of High Temp Alloys from Witcher to Baltimore Shipyard.

I also met a Lane Hacker in the debris field near Baltimore. I'd have liked to add his bomber to the field, but he got the upper hand in the end.

No cargo lost.

Sara Hopkins reporting in. Things went pretty smooth I tried to hire an escort for support through Liberty and Rheinland but did not receive any message back. 10000 units of Ablative Plating have been delivered from Kreuzberg Depot, New Berlin to Baltimore Shipyard New York. The day is not done but I found some downtime to submit my reports.

Signed,

Sara Hopkins

I have delivered 5000 crates of Ablative Armour Plating, as well as 5000 crates of Super Alloys to Baltimore Shipyard.

I have also requested a Supertransport, and have been granted the Austin, a brand-used Mastodon. She flies about as well as you would expect from an ancient frame using modern engines. Brings back memories.

These runs are making my back hurt. And, well, the wallet of the corporation. We keep running into the Unioners. Fortunately they aren't the kind of outfit that just yells once to drop your money before guns blazing. I don't understand how anybody can have such a low standard of human life to do that. This group is organized and continues to organize by the day. Honestly, I can't help but sympathize with them. I've been in enough bars and seen enough of the news - Rheinland is inefficient and greedy. These folks had a run of genuine bad luck and they are paying for it. Ah... if it wasn't for the LPI and their prison business, I'd say we could make an offer to have them join as pilots for us. We need them, so the top boss says. Most of them have a rap sheet though... so, probably no dice.

Anyway, besides Rheinland, these ferries have been slow and uneventful. Hey, as long as I get my paycheck and see my young grandkids over the holidays, what more can be asked? Now, where'd I put my bag of Sunbucks...

The final load of 3600 crates of Aluminum has been delivered to Baltimore.

While I appreciate getting paid for all this driving, a trip to frog land has reminded me of something important. When do we start putting pressure on our competitors? I see too many foreign corporations doing business in Liberty, which is where we should be.

We should be watching for them in the border worlds, making them turn back where they came from. Or we could take stuff from them. Like the old days.
