As you know, and as outlied in our previous letter, Corte Station has been properly placed into the orbit of the Moon Cavallion. The moving process is complete now, and gravitational drifts should no longer be an issue for the safety of our operation. However, recently, we have experienced a new kind of problem: Regularly, pieces of Debris break off the Chateau D'If wreck, get caught in Cavallion's gravity and catapultet against Corte Station's plating. This can cause minor and major damages. Now we understand that the wreck has a long history in the system of Provence. Under the Royalist government, the station was a symbol of cruelty and injustice, with its destruction being as deserved as it was brutal.
Today, the wreck might serve as a reminder of those hard times. But I believe we should consider if this reminder is worth the security risk the wreck now poses.
EFL is therefore interested in dismantling the wreck, repurposing the useful parts and smelt other metals into fresh alloy units.
I do not intent to be disrespectful to the fallen citizens of Provence, who might have been affected by the events that happened onboard the Chateau D'If, that's why we would like to get your official approval for this project. Naturally, the operation would be held only the highest safety standards and would create an additional 400 workplaces for the citizens of Provence.
We will await and respect your decision.
Cordialment,
