34th Brigade vs Everyone• Sirius sector • December, 19 • 17:00 - 19:00 UTC
BACKGROUND
Waldemar Otto. The most hated man by a good quarter of the Order. A commander whose genius is perceived in various ways. His ideas had repeatedly resulted in massive losses during the Second Division. Instead of killing him, he was given a second chance – to join the 34th Brigade. And so he went.
His ideas were met with controversy there, but... they worked. With fewer losses. It remains unclear whether he is cursed, whether he is infected and secretly aiding the Nomads by setting up Order agents for death, or whether he is simply incompetent. In the Order, people can be killed for making numerous mistakes, even if their intentions are good. One thing is certain: his people trust him and are ready to stand with him to the very end.
When the 34th Brigade was under threat of attack, when Adam Helson seemingly went mad, triggering a sharp escalation of tension in Omicron Delta, it was then that Waldemar realized: the prolonged silence in Coronado was no accident. They weren't receiving orders... For some reason. But there were reasons. Something was screaming at him that things weren't as obvious as they seemed.
The only way to uncover the truth was to abandon Coronado. Disobey the orders to protect Atum. Evaporate. Vanish. And undertake the most difficult forced march of his life. Across Sirius, straight to Dabadoru. Random passersby will definitely want to prevent him from reaching Omicrons alive.
Waldemar Otto Wrote:"Gentlemen. I know how tired you all are. Atum is about to find himself in a deadly trap, and we're abandoning him to his fate.
But what's happening now in Omicron Delta transcends everything that's happening here. If we don't show up there, if we forget about our comrades, then the Brigade's days, the Order's days, and humanity's days will be numbered.
From now on, we will be considered deserters, traitors, and enemies. This is a one-way street. We are surrounded by a storm of chaos, discord, and hatred.
So let this storm carry us home!"
EVENT DETAILS
Over the next two hours, the 34th|-tagged ships, placed in Coronado system, will be moving from Coronado to Omicron Delta. Due to events in the Sirius sector, the transfer is difficult. Hidden routes could be traps, and no one can be trusted. But that's also their advantage: they'll resort to trickery and subterfuge to make the route as unpredictable as possible. Even if it takes longer than necessary, they're counting on success.
The Order's enemies and those who simply wish it ill have a chance to stop them. Those who consider the Order the defenders of humanity have the opportunity to help them.
Event rules:
Any Discovery player can take part in the event.
The 341st Wing's route is unpredictable. Don't look for easy ways to catch them.
The success or failure of that event will play a role in the final event.
The route's final destination is the Omicron Delta system. Once they reach there, the event is considered complete.
