Quote:Faction Right 3. Official player factions may request that the reputation of an individual ship or a faction of the same IFF be changed to hostile with respect to their NPC faction. These requests must be posted within the Violation Reports subforum, and include link(s) to valid forum roleplay, as well as actual interaction between the character and the official faction. In case of IDs with multiple official factions, this right can only be used if it has support of every official faction of the ID, but in case of disagreement between the factions involved, they can post an appeal to the Server Administrators to review the situation and come to a decision.
Groups that have been subject to the use of FR3 by another faction, may treat this faction as hostile targets, except for transports, within their Zone of Influence.
Consequences:
Seems you've all caused some issues for the SCRA by breaking their laws and ignoring any warnings. Effective from next server restart (about 15 hours from time of writing), your reps will all be adjusted and therefore seen as red by the SCRA. Seems they're a fan of that colour anyway!
As per the above quote, you may also treat them as hostile targets too until a resolution is found via RP means, should you choose to pursue peace in response.
If you require evidence, you may request such via PM from a Staff member. Only the accused or an official faction leader of the accused person's faction may request such. Once you have the evidence, and if you wish to dispute it, you may post in the Sanction Thread below. Do not continue PM'ing a staff member, as that will result in your Appeal being denied. If you PM a staff or post in the sanction thread and you are not directly involved, you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbors, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE
We accept the reality at hand - we all know that smugglers will be smugglers,
and hostility fits our profile as smugglers.
But we have to ask: whatever happened to open dialogue?
We reached across the aisle in good faith, right there in the game, only to be walled off by bureaucracy.
We were told to file the paperwork, yet in the very same breath,
we were told the 'diplomatic department for foreign relations' is closed for business.
It is a classic case of procedural obstructionism.
It is also a missed opportunity for our community, and quite frankly,
both sides have been denied some truly dynamic interactions.
