Recovering account

I am trying to recover my account which I used in the last 5 years. I do have the Windows installs on my PC which go back further than that so they should be there I believe. Where should I look for them and what files do I look for including their extensions?

Hey, it's worth a try maybe the account data exist there still
C:\Users\"USERNAME"\Documents\My Games\Discovery

atleast there are my acc's

I spoke too soon. I have recovered the accounts and started a game with the Hogosha ship that I remember but it had a weapon which stopped it exiting the station and kept taking me back inside the station. Then I closed the game down. I restarted it again and that ship has gone. None of the usernames can join a multiplayer game now and none of them have the ship I had before.

It's totally screwed up now. It was some type of mine which wasn't in stalled to use when I started but I added it to the installed weapons and that seemed to be what caused the problems.

I now don't know how to get this working because I seem to have lost my ship. I was concerned to be in a location which was hostile to Hogosha ships and I needed to get back to a safer location but that is a less of an issue now because I don't even have my ship which cost me so much.

Any idea what I can do now? TBH I cannot remember which of the accounts had the ship or even the account name that I had given it. I had done a lot of mining to get the money to afford that ship.

Lol. I have found it again. It is a Hogosha Frigate that I have. There are 4 different accounts stored in one from 4 different entries in the Launcher. That confused me because I couldn't find which one held that ship. Now I need to get that ship to a safe location without getting destroyed. I need to do some research to find the safest route out of New London to a friendlier location.
