The Inn's Outbox: RV-Sparkling.Starlight, ACV-Titania, ACV-Archangel.

Fair winds, dear guests.

I wanted to check in with you folks after a rather.. Frustrating incident that occurred outside of Freeport 8. Is everyone who was aboard your vessels okay? A fight broke out, during which the ACV-Titania and ACV-Archangel were disabled by some vessels from Malta.

Given that Technocrats have always been quite cordial, friendly and pleasant guests to have visit the Inn, I am taking a calculated risk in getting some footage to you, about "what the heck just happened?"

At around 18:48:51 Sirius Mean Time, a Maltese Destroyer by the call sign of HS>Aquila un-moored from Freeport 8, and gave chase unto and disrupted the engines of the RV-Sparkling.Starlight, an Oasis Research Liner.

The HS>Aquila claimed that the Starlight had some equipment that was not previously authorized by this Maltese' "clearance." (This felt like nonsense, as their Publicly Posted Laws bear no mention about needing a permit for having a Cloaking Device installed on one's vessel.)

The ACV-Titania came along next, and seemed to imply that the Starlight was under its protection - Primarily, proving such by shoving itself right up next to the Aquila.

By this point, two more Maltese vessels - HS>Melita (a 2nd Destroyer), and Storta (a Sabre; naming a fighter craft after a Destroyer is rather deceptive) - Had come into the area.

The conversation escalated very quickly, and before we knew it, the HS>Aquila was calling for "wiping that ACV down, he is doing my nerves." In response, the ACV-Titania, knowing that conflict was imminent, took initiative and fired the first shot (which is fair, since the Maltese were readying to fire first anyways.)

It was from here, that the Starlight was able to seek refuge with Freeport 8.

It was not long before the ACV-Archangel showed up to assist the ACV-Titania.

By the time the battle was over, the following ships were disabled, in the following order:
ACV-Titania
HS>Aquila
ACV-Archangel

Fortunately, the Gaelic Wyvern Inn was not subsequently harassed, and all three Maltese vessels docked/moored with Freeport 8.

I had thought about CC'ing Revenant or Leviathan in on this message, but I figured I would go to you folks first, since you are the ones whose vessels were involved in this kerfuffle with these thugs from Malta.

If you decide to share this footage with anyone, I ask you do so with discreetly. Given that the Inn Democritus and Grouse were the only two witnesses left in the area, it would not take a genius for someone of this "HS>" group to put 2-and-2 together, and realize who got you these pictures.

That said, we have no objections over Leviathan, and especially Revenant, receiving this report and accompanying footage.

If you folks would like a meal and few rounds of drinks, consider it all on us, as we believe you lot have earned it after having had to suffer through dealing with what I consider common thugs.

Feh... Orange "dream." I am starting to believe that residents from Malta who do not act like common thugs or peddlers are more a rare exception, rather than the rule.

Anyhow - I hope everyone is all right, or doing as well as they can be, after all of that.
