4. Why is this request necessary for the continuation of this character's roleplay?:
The ship has been completely rebuilt and serviced by Phoenix, its partners and allies, and it's time to use this long-awaited project for our defensive and offensive purposes. It would be at least absurd to continue using this ship beyond shipbuilding RP without a 100% powerplant. I have already used it in-game for various reconstruction events, but it's time to use the ship for its intended purpose as the rebuild has come to its logical conclusion.
5. What short-term and long-term goals are you planning to achieve on this character?:
Short term:
Bring the ship into active service after years of reconstruction. Participate in joint operations, events, and daily activities with Phoenix and allied groups to progress the ship's story through in-game engagement.
Long term:
The ship's primary role is the defense of Kadesh Orbital City, Pygar, and other critical Phoenix infrastructure, group and allies' interests. With the worsening situation in the eastern Omicrons following the Nomad incursion in Omicron Zeta, this region will likely serve as Vega's main theater of operations. Additionally, the ship represents a unique achievement for Phoenix and Zoners alike - we will continue shipbuilding and research based on her robust construction ideas to further improve Vega and benefit the broader Zoner fleet.

Communication with 101st. Capturing the wreck and shipping it to our temporary shelter. Following the collapse of Omicroners and growing Corsair influence, a modular station was constructed for the ship's reconstruction. After following mini-event ship wreck was taken out of mod.
Phoenix to Gas Miners Guild | Blueprints
Due to difficulties understanding the ship's design, Christian Burton contacted allies at Gas Miners Guild to obtain basic information about the Bismarck class.
Phoenix Internal Network | Meeting with DHC
Meeting with Daumann Heavy Construction and repair of problematic components. This concludes the first phase of reconstruction. The story resumes after a 5-year hiatus.
Vega's Return to Sirius
This story covers the return of Vega and the Phoenix corefleet, revealing what the group was doing inRP during their absence from Sirius (known as the Great Voyage, described in the faction lore). The ship was damaged by Nomads and the crew attempted to break through on their own - essentially negating the success of the previous restoration.
8. How long has this character been building its backstory?
The character has existed even before I joined the forums, I think I flew ships piloted by my character since 2007. The ship and her story, however, have been in development since 2012, with a hiatus between 2015 and 2020.
