Full name: --- CMD “Basan” Henry

Date of birth: --- 18 August 801

Place of birth: --- Planet Yuma

Current nationality: --- Stateless (Seeking citizenship through service in the Crayter Republic)
Note: Enlistment within the Crayter Military will grant you citizenship within the Crayter Republic after 2 years of service.

Personal background: ---
I was born on Planet Yuma to a humble family of space merchants. My earliest memories are of trade routes glowing across navigation panels and the constant hum of engines cutting through the void. I believed the stars would always be my home.

That illusion ended when I was still a child. While traveling with a commercial caravan bound for Tau-44, we were ambushed by pirates in deep space. What should have been a routine journey became a silent massacre. The ship carrying my entire family was destroyed, and I survived only because I was launched in an emergency escape pod seconds before the explosion. I drifted alone for days, watching the last fragments of my former life fade into darkness.

Allied patrol ships eventually rescued me and transported me to Sulawesi Citadel. With no family and no future waiting for me, I was assigned to work as a maintenance auxiliary for the excavation coils of deep-space mining vessels. The labor was relentless, but it forged my discipline and taught me how to turn pain into strength.

Years later, while reviewing archived station records, I uncovered the truth: the attack on the caravan had not been piracy — it had been authorized by a high-ranking officer of the Gallic Navy. In that moment, I swore an oath to find the man responsible and claim justice for the lives lost.

When I reached adulthood, I became a bounty hunter. The frontier is unforgiving, and it was there that I learned how to track targets across hostile systems, operate alone for extended periods, and make critical decisions under extreme pressure.

Fate eventually placed me face to face with the man I believed had ordered the attack that killed my family. He was critically wounded, drifting aboard a medical vessel. Ending his life would have fulfilled the oath that guided me for years — but the truth changed everything.

His authorization had been forged. He had refused the order and was later silenced to conceal a political conspiracy capable of igniting a war. The enemy I had hunted for so long was, like me, another victim.

I chose to save him. Not out of forgiveness — but because I refused to become the same kind of monster that destroyed my family. That day, I stopped being merely a survivor. I became something more.

Military/Para-military background: ---
Upon reaching adulthood, I forged my path within the theater of conflict by serving as a bounty hunter. This life demanded self-reliance, mental resilience, and the ability to operate where law and order rarely reached. Hunting dangerous targets across volatile regions strengthened my tactical awareness and taught me that hesitation is often the difference between life and death.

Combat skills: ---
I possess extensive experience operating cruisers specialized in torpedo warfare and missile deployment, with strong proficiency in siege engagements and high-impact strike operations.

My background also includes involvement in weapons smuggling networks, where secrecy, efficiency, and calculated execution were essential. These experiences prepared me for covert missions, sensitive transport operations, and infiltrations within heavily monitored territories, making me a versatile operator capable of adapting to both direct combat and silent objectives.

Reasons for enlisting: ---
Today, I seek more than survival — I seek purpose. For most of my life, loss was my only companion, but I have learned that the future is shaped not by the tragedies we endure, but by the choices we make afterward.

No one is meant to walk alone. A life without loyalty, brotherhood, and shared purpose is not truly a life — it is merely existence.

During operations near Newcastle, I fought and trained alongside members of the Republic. Among them, I felt something I had not experienced since childhood: belonging. They were not bound by blood, but by choice — individuals who became a family in the cold expanse of space.

That is why I now seek enlistment in the Crayter Republic.

Not only to serve, but to stand beside those who place their trust in me. To defend the home they are building. To fight for something greater than myself.

If my past has taught me anything, it is that everything can be taken in an instant — except honor, loyalty, and a man’s word.

And if I am given that chance, I will defend this family at any cost.
