[Poll] Discord Player Tracking

As I said in the previous thread, player tracking discord bots have done incredible amounts of damage to the community. Ideally they wouldn't exist at all.

Log in and play the game yourself, dont let bots do it for you.

If we are going as far as to remove Discord bots then Discovery should take the first step and remove the players online tab that shows who is playing where. if that is not going away then discord bots should stand.

I like the bots for convenience. If people can log in and see who's where, what's the harm in keeping it. You can already look anyway. It changes nothing but to add some inconvenience for activity alert.

I agree with this statement.

Out of all the time this bot has existed, as well as existing in a server that I can see it in, I have used it exactly 0 times to find out what I can already do ingame. It is no less an inconvenience to me whether it exists or not, but I know that a few people have used this to grief others.

Take it down, or remove alerts. People shouldnt be pinged by a bot to log into the videogame, they should be doing it whenever they can or are able to if they wanna find people. I agree with nuking the online player count in the forums too, even though I know you probably dont have this ability. Make it simply a playercount, rather than a "heres everyone on the server right now and where."

I would enjoy it if the players online section said, say, how many players are in this system or that system. As unlikely as it may be, if that could be altered in game as well, that would be potentially useful.
