Message to the station Commander of Livadia Shipyard

Dauntles Close Range broadcast
Location: Omicron Theta
Signal strength: Strong

This is Captain John Miller, commander of the Dauntles, an Arbiter class battleship - former insurgency battleship.
I was referred to you by an Overwatch Captain Marrok Cross, a friend of yours i would assume. This message comes with a bit of urgency.. We are seeking a safe harbor away from House space and a drydock capable of accepting battleships of my size. The ship sustained heavy damage during our escape from Liberty and is barely in a flying state.

If you would be willing to aid us in this situation, we are willing to negotiate some kind of a deal in return of your drydock repair services.

We wait for your reply
Cpt. John Miller

Halò Mr Miller.

Och, that’s quite the tale ye’ve got there. But I’ll be needin’ more details. The Vespucci massacre was years ago. I can’t help but wonder how ye survived so long wi’ a ship in that condition. Did ye stash her somewhere quiet, then slowly patch her up wi’ makeshift repairs till she was spaceworthy again?

I’m askin’ partly so I ken which drydock tae clear and what team tae ready—but more importantly, I’ve tae ask: what are yer intentions wi’ that ship? Who exactly are ye defectin’ to, seein’ as the insurgency’s long gone?

It’ll be a dangerous job, an’ I won’t put my crew at risk for a total stranger, if ye’ll pardon me sayin’ so.

Donogan, out.

Greetings Mr. Donagan

Yes, the Vespucci massacre was years ago. We have spent a long time in the Omega 55 system, on the far side of planet Wiesbaden, during which time we have made new friends with a Junker station commander of Bornholm Depot. They were the ones that agreed to take some of our crew aboard their depot, while the auxhilary bridge and life support systems were being patched up as best the Junker engineers could.

What made us leave the Omegas though, was encountering ships of unknown origin and then the infamous Order pilots the next day explaining the seriousness of the situation.
Later we made contact with the Order captain that suggested we ask you for help to get our battleship flight and combat ready. It is our chance to join the humanitys fight againt the common enemy.

Halò Mr Miller.

Aye, those infected are a right nuisance indeed. I’ll still confirm yer story wi’ the Order, mind ye. I hope ye don’t take offence. We can never be too prudent wi’ the infected rampagin’ through the region ye were in.

Since ye were meanin’ tae join them, I’m sure they’ve already run ye through their screenings and tests. Should be quick enough, then.

In the meantime, I’ll rummage through our archives. I’m fairly certain ye’re no’ the only Arbeiter that’s passed through our repair yard.

Donogan, out.
