Missions not working

Hi
I took a mission in New London and it gave me a mess of waypoints with no ships at any of them,it also seems Abort Mission button has stopped working!...any ideas?

Just tried a mission in Newcastle..same thing no weapons platforms at the waypoint and no ships..weird or what?

Restarted game,took a mission in Newcastle.. same thing nothing at the waypoint and I cant abort the mission,
something is very wrong!!!
