my name is Marcel, though most people online know me as UrbanTekk.
I’m from Austria and recently returned to Freelancer after quite some time. It’s great to see that the community around this classic game is still alive. The atmosphere, the scale of space, and especially the roleplay possibilities are something that still make the Sirius sector feel unique.
If you happen to encounter me in space, you might see the callsign LN-RRR-07. I spend a lot of my time operating deeper within the Sirius sector, particularly around the Omicron regions. Most of what I do there revolves around personal research, exploration, and observation. Because of the nature of these activities, many details are restricted or classified, so I usually keep a rather low profile.
I should also mention that I’m still relatively new to roleplay. I’m here because I want to learn it properly and improve over time. If I make any mistakes along the way, please feel free to point them out — I’m always open to learning and doing things the right way.
Outside of Freelancer I’m involved in music production and events under the name DJ UrbanTekk, mainly in the harder electronic scene.
Looking forward to crossing paths with some of you out there in the Sirius sector.
There are a lot more features than original Freelancer had so there is a bit of a learning curve. If the forums do not help the Official Discord Server contains a wealth of helpful people.
