(First please consider that English is my second language. Second, sorry if it's so short and not revealatibg: I had to write all this with the Wii's internet and it gets boring to click on a virtual keyboard. PM for feedback .)

"Gotta be kiddin', sir", exclamed Gunner, from his private quarters.
Gunner was right to be mad; since the recent engine failure due to a Core ambush in Omicron Delta that left the Eye of Horus, a fine Order recon vessel, drifting in space for several days, it was the crew's first day of rest on Toledo. And now, a distress signal in Alaska was going to ruin their day! Gunner, as grumpy as usually, reaches the Gunning station, from where he bosses around his men.
-----
Krixx hates to resort to violence. For him, the Order is all about controlling the nomads, never to harm a fellow human. But saving lives is his job; but is it alright to kill to save?

His orders were clear: strike hard and fast to escort out an Order agent who's pod seemingly is held inside a prison ship. [And I thought being part of the secondary fleet wouldn't get me into such troubles... Shoot this, Recue that, Protect these...] he thought. Krixx steers the ship by himself, following the coordinates to the Alaskan Jump Hole Cynthia gave him on the space chart.
-----
Cynthia, who was born on Toledo in 795, never had real friends until she met Krixx, about 2 Months ago. Everyone there, even if each agents consider the others like brothers and sisters, were nothing more to her than partners. She has no memories of her parents which explains why she is nicknamed the Rose: beautiful, but fragile. But when she met Krixx, a Junker with a lot of ambition, she knew their relationship would be different. But she had to realize that Krixx will never consider her as anything more than a partner. But why would she be his second on command? Krixx always answered "Because you're the youngest person who ever graduated in the Order Officer Academy."

But Krixx's eyes always betrayed him. Did she perceive a hint of lust?
-----
That morning, Cynthia was already proceeding with a long scan range of Alaska from Omicron Minor. The path was traced, and the ship was already navigating through the asteroid field of Omicron Minor.
-----
Krixx activated the Holocam of the Engines station. "Sebastian, said Treia, set all powers to engines, and engage autopilot."
Sebastian, a Corsair fellow who mysteriously has a Bretonian accent, urgently answered: "Yessir. ETA 5 Minutes. Want my men to initiate jumping sequence when reach the destination?"

"Yes please. Cynthia is already plotting a course for when we'll be in Alaska. In the meantime, I'll do the last verifications around the ship. Krixx, out."
